1pt = some kind of victory ? this depresses me .. every team should 'Play to Win'. Teams who just come and decide not to play , should be banned.

Im sure derby would love to come to old trafford and have all the possesion and attack throughout

unfortunately for them though just one of man u's attackers will probably be worth more than their entire team

Why should teams come to OT and be fearful of Manchester United , same for going to Stamford Bridge and Anfield etc. Okay i know if they attack they would get raped , but they will get credit for *giving it a go*.

No, they'll get called fucking idiots for using shite tactics. Erm

im sure once the keepers picks the ball out of the net for the 10th time and the manager goes in to explain to his board why the team lost 10 - 0 at the weekend the credit for giving it a go will be suitable compensation

It's a smart tactic for teams that can't buy international superstars for tens of millions. ok

It's the Liverpool type i don't like to face <Ale>

    the liverpool and milan type

    ie teams with better managers

    ok

The 3-2 Milan was a great game....Where did i mention Milan? the 3-0 was a great performance from them, didn't like the ref being Gattuso's best friend but no arguments there cotr. Liverpool type = defensive boring long ball hack anti football stuff <Ale>

And lose millions of pounds for being relegated....

Tortoise and hare, if they stay up they stand to gain an extra 20odd million which they can re-invest and hope to push up the table and start to dictate their style of football on teams.

Its not as simple to say, go and give it a go, doesn't matter if you get hammered, at least you can say you tried to win.

If they get hammered while parking the bus just imagine how bad it would be if they left even more space for rooney, ronaldo, tevez and nani to exploit

I've only seen one game, against Portsmouth and I think I saw Martins score an amazng bycicle kick in a highlight package. ANd yes it was fantastic

I can't even complain about Sammy Lee, against Portsmouth he got it spot on, bar playing Nicky Hunt. We were decent, bar our defence, and they got a nothing penalty, and a dodgy first goal. From what I've seen, hopefully we can win against Reading and kick start our season.

I'm still optimistic. In 2004 we started with three defeats and lost away to Portsmouth 4-0. We finished 6.

What would really piss me off is if Anelka and Diouf went off to a Nouveau Riche club, after all the hard wotk we've put in getting a decentish team out of nothing.

I'm convinced that with a decent RB, we could make the top ten.
