Fans sure have a short memory, don’t they? NO, Ronaldo hasn’t been better than Ronaldinho for the last 2 years, in fact he was pretty useless two years ago when Manu was kicked out from CL first round for the likes of Villareal and Benfica, remember this? Rolling Eyes
If I remember correctly in the same year Kaka and Ronaldinho were fighting for the Trophy in the Semi finals, with Ronaldinho going all the way to the final. (in fact I think he won the damn thing)

It was just last year after the WC that Ronaldo started to really give world class performances, and he really was fantastic in the end of the season, but don’t forget that he disappeared against Milan in the semis (the real Manu player was Rooney) Kaka’s performance was absolutely essential for Milan.

Also in the League he was great against Bolton and Middlesbrought but he failed to score against the big ones like Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. The day he shouts down The Emirates or Anfield like Ronaldinho did in The Bernabeu then we start to talk about best in the World. Ale

He is a great player, and will only get better (wich i cant say about Dinho) but the hype is annoying.

Well well well, is this the normal juligen talking, or is this the Liverpool loving juligen talking Biggrin

I said two years but i was not going as far back as that horrid cl campaign.
From January 2006 Ronaldo has consistently outperformed Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho did his bit in the cl semi and final, but he wasnt exactly on top form then or at the end of the league season. In the world cup he was very poor, and then last season he didn't really ever get going.

Where on the flip side Ronaldo finished that season really really well. Had a very good world cup. And then had an amazing season last year.
True Kaka outpeformed him in the Milan games, but i put that down to fatigue Kaka was in perfect condition Milan even rested him before both games. While Ronaldo could not be rested of course because he had a league title to win. <Ale> Biggrin

If Ronaldinho of 2004-2005 was the same Ronaldinho as today then maybe i would say he is still above Ronaldo. But Ronaldo had improved a lot while Ronaldinho has gone backwards. <Ale>

interesting to see Pato in the top 100, revealing the crazy euro hype. He never played for Milan, but the fact that Milan has signed him made him top 100 in the world, something that would never happen if he was still an Internacional player.

Pato should be top 40 IMO, even before going to Milan. Gattuso should be among the top 5.
