Could be a Chelsea fan too. We've got 12 in the list (although none in the top 10 admittedly).

    Dario Silva?

    Not sure about Aguero either.

Ayala, Scholes, Cannavaro, Henry & Ronaldinhio would have to come out, the first three due to age.

    David Silva, oozes class. <Ale>

Of the top 20, I'd take out these Bolded ones:

    20. Michael Essien (Chelsea)
    19. David Villa (Valencia)
    18. Francesco Totti (AS Roma)
    17. Paul Scholes (Man Utd.)
    16. Roberto Ayala (Real Zaragoza)
    15. Ruud van Nistelrooy (Real Madrid)
    14. Andrea Pirlo (AC Milan)
    13. Didier Drogba (Chelsea)
    12. Daniel Alves (Sevilla)
    11. Petr Cech (Chelsea)
    10. Fabio Cannavaro (Real Madrid)
    9. Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)
    8. Wayne Rooney (Man Utd.)
    7. Samuel Eto'o (FC Barcelona)
    6. Steven Gerrard
    5. Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona)
    4. Thierry Henry (FC Barcelona)
    3. Ronaldinho (FC Barcelona)

    2. Christiano Ronaldo (Man Utd.)
    1. Kaka (AC Milan)

How is Seedorf not in the top 20? The man is overlooked by everyone, just look at the Milan fans.

Putting Van Der Vaart at 83 just looks silly now. Laughing

And Aguero should therefore easily slot into the top 20.

Ayala and Cannavaro, not just due to age, they've been performing poorly as well.

    Rooney was in 8th? Laugh

He should have been in the late teens back then and still is now. He hasn't yet done anything to differentiate himself from the rest of the pack of strikers that is built up a round there so why he was that high I'll never know.

This was done a year ago after he'd just scored loads of goals that helped us win a title and scored 2 goals in a CL quarter final tie and 2 goals in a CL semi final tie.

He isn't 70+ spots better than van Persie, that's for sure. I'd still be inclined to put him in the top 20.

Why not? What has van Persie actually done apart from 'be talented'?

Nothing, which is why he would be around 50 for me. If it was based on talent he'd be top 8, easily. Ale
