You hardly threatened though, first half especially you were average, second half when our injuries piled up the game plan changed and we just tried to hold on for 40 odd minutes

Were you watching a different game? In the first half we had 60% possession. We hit the post TWICE. We were not average. YOU however, were $h!t on a stick, yet again Ale

You've got no English players, you foreign C0ck munchers

...hence they pass the ball so well.
Walcott is not English? Besides Liverpool aren't exactly flush with English talent.

    Gerrard, Carragher, Crouch vs Walcott.

    f@ck you, bitch.

I simply said Liverpool aren't flush with English talent and that's clearly true.

Hoyte is in their squad though, not on loan...or is he?

Hoyte was injured and lost his place. He's in the England U21 squad I think.

I actually thought Liverpool played quite well in the first half and deserved the lead. Second half was a completely different story. Arsenal weren't amazing by any means but at least they tried to score, something Liverpool showed no interest in.

Once again, I feel that Liverpool are severely lacking in flair players. They desperately need someone like Messi, Ronaldo, Robinho, etc. Players who can decide games with a piece of magic. It's amazing that in their entire squad, Liverpool doesn't have a single player who can dribble. This has to be some kind of record.

    <Ale>

Today Liverpool didn't have one player on the pitch who could run with the ball and beat a player, united had 5 in the game yesterday!!

There were many occasions when Liverpool attackers had the ball in the Arsenal half with loads of space to run into and they would just check back and play the ball sideways/backwards and lose all momentum.

Liverpool had no invention or creativity, they just kept hoofing the ball forward hoping to get lucky. They couldnt pass the ball around and make things happen. The contrast in styles was amazing, if you didn't know anything about the teams you wouldn't think that both teams were title challengers.

Rafa needs a clear out and a huge rethink as Liverpool are never going to win the league playing this kind of kick and rush hoof ball with slow and above average players.

Ps They have Babel who can dribble, but Rafa didn't play him and he isnt in the same league as the players you mentioned originally.

Almunia: 8 Couldnt have done anything about goal as he positioned the wall fine, and made some good saves, espicially one of crouch and gerrad. Flapped a bit at one cross though.
Sagna: 7.5 Not troubled at all
    Toure 7.5 Good performance
    Gallas: 8 Extremely good performanceC
Clichy: 6.5 Never troubled one on one but a few lax moments in posession.
Flamini: 8 Completely different player this year. Assured in possesion and complements Cesc well.
Cesc: 8 Difficult for him in the mddle, especially with mash but took his goal well.
Eboue: 6.5 Some good moments, but some dreadul one. NEVER used Sagna as an overlap and as a result, we didnt sretch play enough. Unlucky not to score also.
Rosicky: 5.5 Off the pace a bit and didnt see the ball as much as he'd have liked. Not completely match fit yet.
Hleb: 8 Not perfect but no 10s will never retain that much of the ball. Brilliant through ball for the game. 5 assists this season.
Adebayor: 5 Caused a threat but when you're as tall and athletic as he is, you would have to be doing something wrong not to. Very frustrating watching him. hasnt scored for 6 matches now.

I'd give Gallas MOTM. It's pretty awesome having defenders who are so confident on the ball.

Is Flamini playing well this year? I haven't been able to see many games of Arsenal since I moved to Asia. He was pretty effective for Marseille, but average when he moved to Arsenal, after I haven't really seen much of him.

Compared to last year, he's a completely different player.
He complements Cesc perfectly due to how he will run all day long and break up player, giving Cesc more time on time on the ball as a result.
He's also been pretty good in possesion, clever distribution of ball.

Thanks Helb. I'm quite surprised his doing well. I had my thoughts on him. I believed he would done a similar career as Cygan, that is to sometimes play well then totally disappear.
