    re Monchi
In an interview he did with World Soccer the way a player is signed is that he describes to Monchi the attributes he wants in a particular player and their position and Monchi goes out to look for them.

I'm sorry, but it's his problem if he didn't kick up a fuss when it was obvious they needed a left winger.

I think it's gonna be hard for him. He won't have a pre-season to get the players up to the high fitness levels he demands of his players.

Judging by the statistic of us being the 3rd highest scorers in the prem, behind Man U and Arsenal, however one of the most leakiest defenses in the prem, and after watching the Blackburn match first hand, he will know what he needs to address...

The problem is simple, but to fix it is the difficult part, with the transfer window a good 2 months away...

You also need your midfield sorting out...your CM is terrible and a decent LW is needed.

Bale for sure will play LB when he's fit, but the key is for Ramos to buy at least 2 new CBs in January (Dawson and Kaboul as backups, King a writeoff), and somehow just get the current unit playing a bit more tightly, or at least teach Zokora to do a better job protecting them.

Zokora has got the attributes to be a decent defensive midfielder, but he is too stupid positionally. He just always makes the wrong decisions. I hope Ramos first and fore-most teaches him the art of covering our defense. Its not just our defense thats fucked, its our protection...

Time and time again, we leave a massive gap in between defense and midfield, it just lets the defense too much to do and therefore makes the defending desperate..

Huddlestone, technically sound, but bloody hell he needs to lose some weight, he was slow to pratically every ball on sunday, whilst his playmaking and passing is genrally alright (although on sunday it was at times very very bad), but the boy needs to become fitter..

Ofcourse the mistake was to spend 16m on a striker we didnt need and not getting a experience defender and a left winger..

It will take time and effort from Ramos, but he will learn that the weakness is letting in goals, nervousness due to inexperience in our defense, more defensive cover from our midfield and a $h!t goalie....all that needs addressing...

Not yet. One win their out of the relegation zone and a couple and they'd be well away.

their next five league games are boro away, Wigan at home, West Ham away, Brum at home and Man City at home.

2 of those games I'm sure they'll get 6 points from. the only tough game is the West Ham one, its feasible they could get three points at home to City and away to boro

Tottenham's tickets for the away game at Upton Park have gone on general sale Laughing

It's sad when your own fans are turning their back on a fierce London derby...especially when we only charge £30 a ticket.

You have to understand, the way we are playing and defending, a trip to a resurgent West ham team, brimming with confidence and one ours bitter rivals(Feeling mutual, I know and always up for this fixture), isn't the most attractive of fixture theses days!

But, we have one of the most impressive away support in the prem and if I had the chance, I would love to go...(Haven't been to an away match in over 3 years, although 30 quid is fairly decent)....

You have the chance...the tickets are on general sale...usually you snap them up before members can even get hold of one...

It's still bad though Zack...we were in the same position last year, and yet tickets for the away game at WHL were sold out on the day of sale (members couldn't get them) and people were paying £80-£100 to get a ticket.

the point being if you were in their position you'd still sell out, cos you see it as one of the biggest matches of the season, the spuds don't

Its Bad, I know and normally we would snap up the tickets. But you should see the anxiety in our fans theses days, its like when blackburn equalised, the feeling from the anxiety and inevitablity just desended onto us...We are not feeling confident theses days

Like I said, normally we would snap them up, a game with the Hammers is always a big and bitter fixtures Smile (The match last season and.......that match before last season Sad )

    So...Spurs...fans...do...see...this...as...a...big....fixture...so...your...point...has...no...substance.

Mate you have to understand, irespective of our league postions or anything, West Ham and Spurs will always have a long bitter rivalry...

Hatred is suprisingly intense, yes our fiercest bitter bitter rivals are Arsenal, but the Hammers match is always significant match in our fixture lists...

Not one Spurs Fan will say the match with West Ham isn't important, its very important...
