Prediction was 4 points wan't it. Probably better than 3 points however as this way the opposition have dropped 4 points! Good for the chasing teams Wink

I thought there would be goals!

As usual the second half was much better than the first as is always the case in these big games. I thought Arsenal played the better football and looked like they wanted the win more, United were happy to sit back and frustrate Arsenal, United on the whole didn't have a great deal of chances but took advantage of some poor Arsenal defending.

I don't think United deserved to win, I'm not so sure Arsenal deserved to win though, so a draw was a fair result. Gallas was class.

Great result for Chelsea and Liverpool

    ok

He was our best defender against your lot as well. Truly showing what a class player he is and what we've missed for large sections of last season and much of this.

Gallas-Touré is a top class centre back partnership, just a worry that Gallas might pick up a few more injuries over the course of the season. Senderos is Cr@p

2nd goal perhaps demonstrated one thing Saha is still important for us despite having Tevez and Rooney.

    He is.

You seem to have been spoiling for a fight from the get go.

No I just thought Man U didn't deserve there lead after the first half and Anderson behaved like a little $h!t which annoyed me. I commented on an excellent Man U move in the second half and agreed that a draw was a fair result. I simply suggested that Arsenal caoming back was a credit to them and not because Man U can't hold onto a lead. Sorry but I don't see why I should see the game from a Man U perspective just because you do.

Well of course ronaldo dives all the time. The united fans just think he has improved because he only does it once or twice a game instead 30 times like he used to

What an utter shite performance. We were dreadful going forward in my opinion. Tevez and Ronaldo were completely non existent. Poor defending for both of their goals.

A completely justified result (although Arsenal definitely played the superior football, they were at home).

Did any Arsenal fans think scratch when Wenger brought on Gilberto and Eduardo for Hleb and Rosicky?

Soon after you went 2-1 down and didn't look like getting an equaliser.

FFS what a disappointment why do we keep conceding these late goals against Arsenal, I am so annoyed. The whole defence went to sleep for both their goals.

I dont know why SAF didnt bring Saha on earlier we looked so much better with him on the pitch.

Rooney was fantastic - even though he missed THAT header- like he always is against Arsenal, Anderson was excellent in the first half, but faded in the second half (we really needed Scholes during that period), Evra also played really well and was excellent going forward. Ronaldo got a goal and an assist but was pretty quiet. during the game.

PS if Rooney hadnt scored would it have been a red card for Gallas and a penalty?

Well there's a danger that he might go missing. Giggs has a lot more experience, although picking Nani in hindsight would have been the better choice.

Giggs goes missing everytime he plays.

As for Tevez, he might as well have not played today, I honestly didn't think he was when I entered the pub late and we got to half time.

I doubt the referee would have seen it to be honest. It all happened very quickly. And he didnt giver anything when the ball hit Hargreaves arm which was far more obvious.

I don't think any united player played particularly well. you just grinded out the result and got a few goals on the counter attack

Arsenal are just a very hard team to look good against because they keep the ball so brilliantly
