Re: Rank Your Favourite EPL Clubs
It's not about which club you like or hate the most. I enjoy watching almost all premiership teams, the football is, in most cases very entertaining. I don't really have a favourite, or one the I like least. For most of last season, well, the first 25/30 games, I enjoyed watching the 'ammers, a team many think I dislike. But then they fucked up and started winning.

Re: Rank Your Favourite EPL Clubs
1) Spurs - on form, they're the most beautiful team in the league
2) Man U - are usually the best team in the league to watch throughout the course of the season
3) Blackburn - one of the few sides in the league to play with proper wingers who take men on and create things. A bit of a throwback to the mid 90s in terms of English football, before wide midfielders who could 'do a job' became the fashion.
4) Liverpool - surprisingly variable in their styles of play, they are the most adaptable tactical outfit in the league. For connoisseurs, or people who like Italian football, a very interesting team.
5) Pompey - hilariously inconsistent, but play some of the best high tempo football around.
6) Villa - like Blackburn, have proper wingers and aren't afraid to use them. Also got a very good player in Barry, who surprised even me (a fan of the guy for years) with his recent England performances.
.
.
.
.
Blah blah
19) Derby - the only entertainment is how poor they are. Worse than Watford, and that's really saying something.
20) Arsenal - I find I can predict everything they're going to do in the course of a match and find it baffling that Premiership managers find it so difficult to set up their teams to contain them. Short of parking the bus, they don't seem to have a clue how to play against them. Very boring, very predictable, very overrated. Epitome of what's wrong with modern football.

The only thing he is better at than Rio is putting a piece of cloth round his left bicep and pulling at up at regular intervals as a he shouts and bawls.

Terry's distibution is very good. Overlooked
Incidentally Pierre- watched Everton away to Nuremberg the other night. Was far from impressed with Lescott on that performance- a lot of long aimless passes conpounded with an almost inexcusable sideways pass to Yobo in the first half which Nuremberg should have scored from.
Remain to be convinced he can perform at the highest level outside of the EPL.

Re: Rank Your Favourite EPL Clubs
I watch some Blackburn Uefa cup games and Bentley hopelessly tries to go past people. He neither has the pace or the skill to go past players. What he does have is good technique which allows him to put in good crosses consistently and have good shots from distance. Pederson must be one of the most overrated players in the league. He puts in the occasional great cross and scores and occasional wonder goal and people think he's great. He is the left sided Bentley but less consistent.Agooner wrote:Rabbit wrote:Pederson and Bentley both score wondergoals, the kind Hleb can only dream of.

Yep. And Terry being injured *yet again* certainly means Carragher's better on the ball at this precise moment in time. I don't see Terry's team winning 8-0, do you?

So the sum total of two Arsenal's fans arguments to the contrary of what I said were:
No, Bentley and Pederson are $h!t
No, Pederson is $h!t
Do you think Carragher's better than Terry?
A sarcastic reaffirmation of what I said
A sarcastic refusal to argue their point of view
What did I say about Arsenal? Ah yes, no fans, just hype merchants. Proof, if ever it were needed, is on this very thread. Keep on reaching for that rainbow, fellas...
