I've looked at their achievements, Keegan took a team from nearly being relegated from the 2nd division to 2nd in the top tier.

What have any of the others that I ranked lower won? Keegan and Keane have Championship/2nd Div titles I guess. But I'm giving extra points for winning things at different clubs.

As long as you are willing to admit (as you just have done) that you are excluding a vast majority of rafa's CV on this basis ie the european titles, achievements and titles in Spain

But eh yeah, moyes it is then, who has 'managed there'

Because of his upbringing? Because he is more inherently able? Because he has read more widely and constructively, focusing insightfully on his chosen field? I don't know how Keegan is better exactly - I'm just recording that it is so!

Really, it's only one place Luis, and Keegan actually only pipped Benitez to third place on the last day of the season - ultimately, both will feature in the final qualifying round of the Champions League, though Benitez faces a tricky trip to Trabzonspor, whilst Keegan only has to beat Guadalupe.

Keegan has, in the course of his managerial career, come much closer to winning the Premier League than has Benitez. This thread is ranking Premier League managers, so it seems fair to judge them to a significant extent on their Premier League ability, and I consider Keegan the more likely of the two to lead a team to the Premier League title in the future. I prefer Keegan's style of football, and I think his managerial style is less limited than is Benitez's - Benitez sometimes doesn't seem to get on as well with his players, and I'm not convinced that he is a good judge of attacking players.
