Junihno for free kicks.Rarely seen that before! two or three seasons ago he was scoring all the time! incredible.I have read someone had Lolo Robert on his list...He was awesome too in this exercicebluenine wrote:Among the players since you started watching football (not all time legends you have heard about or seen highlights of), who would you rate as the best at the following:
1. Taking freekicks?
2. Crossing the ball?
3. Most elegant tackles?
4. Scoring off the head?
5. Dribbling past players?

The Angola player? Didn't he have some knee problems which couldn't be helped? What happened to him?
Since 1888 wrote:I know watching him for Angola and I really liked the look of him. I thought they mentioned he couldn't play more than a half. What is exactly the problems with his knee? Not any way to fix it?

4. Scoring off the head? Bierhoff, Les Ferdinand, Vieri, Boggetti, Shearer

Yep, he single-handedly destroyed the Argentinians when Pekerman brought him on against the Germans

Stupid tactics to bring on Julio Ricardo Submarine Cruz (the rest of the tactics were mind baffling as well, but that took the cake).
Look again at that part of the match when he played : he couldn't have done better for the Germans if he were wearing a white and black jersey.
I'm not kidding here : he did *everything* wrong in that match, Germany was playing with 12 against 10 from then on.
bluenine wrote:Cruz had a poor game, but surely you have to agree that:
1. Taking Riquelme off was more stupid
2. Not playing Messi at all was more stupid
3. While we are at it, not taking Zanetti in the squad was more stupid
etc etc

btw, Cruz only came on in the 80th minute or something like that!!

So if that is the defination, I would pick Julio Cruz as well. Honorable mention to Solskjaer. Cruz is like a "Solskjaer" who ends up outscoring the "RVN" and the "Rooney" of the team.

Well I don't want to be rude...but the worst divers come from Groningen!! Robben and Suarez
Robben was even born in that area!!
Must be something in the water there...gonna find it out!

Strangely they all fully develop that treat at other clubs and not at FC Groningen...
Cruz dives more than Robben, Suarez and Figo combined btw.

Solskjaer regularly did similar or at least matched them from when he arrived to his injuries around 2004.

I'm sorry, no one dives more than Robben, the "Diving Dutchman".
I'm sure he is "Bionicman", with the amount of snippers that get him on any 90 minutes of football.

Oh Axe, you know that Suarez dives more than Cruz, he is worse than all of them. He dives atleast 5times a match.
