Arsenal's capacity to fuck up whenever they get within a sniff of top is quite something. Spurs just took their 3 chances and snuck it. Arsenal wasted soooooo many good openings & opportunities when they were cruising in the first half and early 2nd.
Hard to work out how Spurs managed to win when they didn't have a RW the entire match (did either Lennon or Defoe touch the ball?) and Jenas was nowhere to be seen in midfield.

but then I remembered their supporters olé - ing each pass after 30 minutes, and feel they got everything they deserved. That kind of smug arrogance will come back to haunt you, and it did today.

No. But going into every game you play against a team that isnt shite and proclaiming that you have no chance of winning doesnt make you much of one..and it makes you a fag.
It isnt realistic to expect a team who just beat Inter Milan a couple of weeks ago to lose badly to Arsenal, who themselves lost 2 of their last 4 games, to promoted Newcastle and Shaktar Donetsk..and also struggled to a last minute win over the current worst team in the premiership.

We've struggled to score and conceded far too many so far in the league.
Arsenal are top scorers. They were in good form coming into this game.
After 17 years of losing away to them, why the fuck would I have expected today to be any different? We were 2-0 down and hardly outplayed them, simply took our chances and were fortunate they didn't. So it could well have been 17 years and counting, it wasn't as if predicting us to get beaten was flying in the face of convention.
Only on these boards do you get abused as a "fag" for being realistic and respectful of the opposition. No doubt if I predicted Spurs to win every match you'd have something to say about that too
