I want Pool to win, but i'm not confident. To beat the wop they need to play with plenty of pace and urgency, and as we all know Rafa likes his teams to play at a snails pace. Hopefully Babel, Torres, and Gerrard ignore what he has to say, Pool need big games from them.

Chivu already on a yellow. This why I don't like him in defence, needs a lot of fouls (to make up for his lack of pace). He used to be red card prone in Holland.

Dutchy, how is Kuyt pronounced? I always thought it was Kite, but ITV have been calling him Kowt for 2 years now.

Materazzi's yellow was very harsh, Torres just dropped as soon as he was past him without there being any contact. Mascherano has committed the worst foul of the game so far and he didn't receive a booking. But Liverpool are looking very good so far, they're pressuring well

lots of small decisons going in liverpools favour... cordoba had a clean tackle on torres given as a freekick... red card for Materazzi, another poor decision!!!

Inter have not yet settled. But the ref is giving every decison to Liverpool

Torres should be the one off the pitch for two blatant dives. The second incident in particular was so clearly a dive, just Torres falling to the ground, and the referee was so close to it, that the only conclusion is that he has been bought or has some other reason for such biased decisions.

The Ref has been so picky, and on occassions just wrong, but Materazzi is such foolish to give the ref an opportunity to send off one of the most recognised 'bad boys' of football.

Hopefully football can still be what we talk about after the game as opposed to an awful display from the officials.

This is when playing 3 of the last 6 games with 10 men will come to use... we have the experience to get something out of this game.

it'll probably make it easier to defend. There is now no space at all for torres. Until rafa brings Lucas and kuyt off gerrard is really our best goal threat

This is where rafa gets the chance to keep his job. Inter have not played a single bit of football in 45 minutes. He simply has to sacrifice this defensive formation and trust his defenders to defend any counters. Inter as expected are not as good as they are made out to be

Added to that, Materazzi's reputation goes before him. Same thing happened at the WC too. If that was Samuel, i doubt there would be a red or even a yellow, though Samuel wouldnt have been so stupid
