I'm sorry, was Montolivio playing today?
It's ok Bobo now isnt the time for this stuff. But i know you know how wrong you were
One game Lrd, and Monotolivio wasnt playing.
And didnt you recently claim that you wernt one to make rash judgements after one game? The hypocrisy...

What an insult it is that Roma is Serie A's only hope!
You were right about all the Serie A teams going out at this stage though.
Shut up tard, whatever Roma do tomorrow it will be a hell of a lot more than Nazio have done this season.
Good luck to Milan, you are a classy club, much more than those cheating faggots Intermerda.
Montolivo is a very good player, foolish of Bobo to say he is any match to Cescy though, then again he is a Nazio fan.
Lose to madrid away? thats exactly what we did... Name calling gets you nowhere BM.
Id rather see Inter win than Milan.
why is it foolish?
We'll see son, we'll see. The pride of Rome will carry the torch of a city once again. Typically you'll run your mouth like you did in the Milan Vs Arsenal tie saying Milan will go through, but the men of the Eternal city have other ideas.
Montolivo has been abysmal this season, I still have enough faith in him to become a very good player one day but right now you can't put him in the class of Fabregas.
Aquilani is a much better player than Monti.

Psh, Aquilani can't even get a starting place over Pizarro, and when he does he'll probably get injured again and be out for months.

Gallas is going to have to move across, as I don't really want to see Traore up against European elite standard opposition.
Hopefully Kolo will be back over the next week or so. At least we didn't need to use van Persie, more time now rested before his introduction back into the fray.

In terms of talent they are pretty evenly matched though Montolivio hasnt developed as i expected this season.

Sir Les wrote:Yoda wrote:Anyone who buys into the ITV hype about this being a great Arsenal performance is an idiot. Arsenal were good, easily the better side, and deserved the win. But Milan were poor, Kaka was especially disappointing.
Of course, they lined up with three DMCs (of sorts) and with Kaka playing poorly they just didn't create enough. Both sides lost possession too easily and squandered good positions, but Arsenal made it count with two goals that a team wanting to stay in this competition should not concede. The Fabregas one should have been blocked, and the shot saved, but it was well placed and he deserved it for an outstanding performance in midfield. The Adebayor one was three errors in a row, but by then the game was over so that doesn't really matter.
For now, congrats to Arsenal but don't kid yourself - you (deservedly) beat a very good team that played poorly over the two legs.
Stop making excuses.
I'm not - I said Arsenal were the better team and deserved the win.
It's taken 50 years for an English team to beat Milan so yes it was a great performance,
Precisely the nonsense I'm objecting to - the result and the performance are often separate, as with tonight. I've seen Arsenal play better this season and lose.
the opposition can only play as well as you let them.
True, but they played poorly despite Arsenal not playing that well.
They were closed down at tremendous speed today.
And passed poorly, failed to support the front three, and missed the few good chances they created. Arsenal can't take the credit for Milan's poor finishing.
Clear penalty as well in the first half where the ref chickened out.
It was outside the box. It was a foul, no question, and the yellow card for diving was stupid, but it wasn't a penalty in a million years.
To outplay Milan in Milan is worthy of hitting the headlines.
Sure it is. But making out, as ITV did and some Arsenal fans here have, that it was a historic and great performance is overplaying what in truth was a good performance and a great result against a team who played poorly. Thinking you're the $h!t because you overturned one of the favourites playing badly is classic Arsenal arrogance, and it wouldn't surprise me if you got turned over in the next round as a result of this.

Re: AC Milan vs. Arsenal Discussion Thread
KA was the best Azzuri player in the U23 WC, most assists, scored more than ANY player in the whole team and generally kicked some England arse. Remember that stunner? Aquilani has twice as many goals as Monti this season even though he has played about 20 games more than Alberto.
Aquilani is more athletically gifted, better defender, better shooter, just as good a passer and is technically superior to Monti. Simply put, KA is one of the few complete midfielders in world Football today. His astonishing talent will be there for all to see in the years to come, too bad he is so injury prone.
It must be so gut wrenching to know that the future Italia midfield will comprise of 2 of the Giallorossi's finest.
