I think its quite funny how some of the Arsenal fans wait untill they fell off the top of the premiership to shout their mouths off.

Perhaps they just feel more comfortable not winning titles Ale

Also, its interesting to see - rather than dedicating their time on how they have thrown their season away and what they should have done better, particularly Shazlx cowers away and would rather talk about other teams apparent inadequacies with a vast array of bullshit, and inaccurate statements.

Don't forget, Arsenal finished 4th, nowhere near the title, two years running, with points totals in those seasons that Liverpool will beat this year (almost certainly).

    Short memories are unforgiving.

In what way do you assume that I meant Arsenal were superior to Liverpool? This is why I take issue with Luis' thread:

    1. Liverpool have never been nearly men. They have never challenged for the title, even the year they finished second.

    2. Arsenal havent been what can be considered as nearly men either in the last couple of seasons. As you've said, we've been closer to Spurs than the eventual champions in the last couple of seasons.

    3. The lagging behind reference he uses for Arsenal this season is false. Up until the last couple of weeks, we were leading the blasted thing.

Fair enough, I'd broadly agree with all of that. But I had no way of knowing you meant all that from one sentence.

The papers say it's a two horse race now, it was a two horse race last year and the year before. Arsenal are therefore lagging behind this race.

They have at least shown they can beat Chelsea and Arsenal, or at least hold them to a draw with reasonable consistency, instead of just collapsing whenever they come to town. With a bit of luck they may finally be in position to appear to be in challenging (and probably like Arsenal this year collapsing).

Not about one player. He has nothing to exploit. Man Utd great defence great at set pieces good in the air fantastic attack. Arsenal have a dodgy defence and in the case of the 4-1 Crouch exploited the two small cbs. Chelsea are not the best attacking team. so two defensive teams can lead to a 0-0 quite easily or a 1-0 if Pool nick a goal. We'll always get a good chance. Pool havent scored against us in 10 hours so there's the problem. But as shown with Rio and Torres one great attacking player can be marked out of the game.

The sooner we beat United in the league the sooner this voodoo will be broken they have over us. It's purely psychological.

A win against them in Moscow would make up for those 10 hours without scoring past them however Smile Shame Barca will beat them in the semi's though.

    2. As far as I'm concerned, Arsenal were never in the title race in the 2 previous seasons. Threrefore the lagging behind comment is void.

Shaz / Spaz, whatever you call this donkey - should probably keep his 'insightful' comments to the Arsenal cause, because he's not the slightest fucking clue what hes talking about when reffering to other clubs - and quite frankly what he says about Arsenal couldn't interest me any less Ale

That is what you should have said! Instead of going into this nearly men bollocks. Have you seen your squad Luis!? It's pretty fucking $h!t in comparison to United's. Arsenal have as much depth as Man City, so how are we gonna compete with Man Utd?
