In what way do you assume that I meant Arsenal were superior to Liverpool? This is why I take issue with Luis' thread:

1. Liverpool have never been nearly men. They have never challenged for the title, even the year they finished second.

2. Arsenal havent been what can be considered as nearly men either in the last couple of seasons. As you've said, we've been closer to Spurs than the eventual champions in the last couple of seasons.

3. The lagging behind reference he uses for Arsenal this season is false. Up until the last couple of weeks, we were leading the blasted thing.
