Fair enough, let’s hope Grant gets a pie on his face just like he did in the Carling Cup final.

Come on you chavs!!!
Yeah, quite why the "first London club" thing should be particularly relevant compared to the spectre of United doing it again is beyond me.

The Devil Or The Deep Blue Sea?

For neutrals it's a bloody hard decision. Football365 have come up with ten reasons why you should support ManYoo and Chelsea. And they try and convince you that mining is hard work...
WHY WE SHOULD SUPPORT MANYOO...
* They have undoubtedly been the most impressive team in currently the finest league in Europe so they are already - in theory at least - the best in the business. That this should be rewarded with the actual trophy seems in some way The Way It Should Be.
* They do have some likeable players - namely Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra and Carlos Tevez - whom it is actually quite tricky to wish ill upon.
* Paul Scholes is one of the lingering remnants of a time before bling and it would warm most cockles to see him achieve what he missed in 1999.
* They're the only thing standing between John Terry and the Champions League trophy.
* Peter Kenyon.
* Ronaldo may well bugger off to Real Madrid if they win, believing he's achieved everything he can with ManYoo.
* In Lyon, Roma and Barcelona they have beaten three of the best teams in France, Spain and Italy while Chelsea have only had to face England's fourth-best side and the finest football Greece and Turkey has to offer. There's definitely a theory building that United have earned one final triumph.
* It might stop Clive Tyldesley mentioning "that night in Barcelona".
* For all of Ronaldo's faults...he's not Didier Drogba.
* The closer ManYoo get to 'five times' the more Liverpool fans will be getting worried. And there's little that's more entertaining than a defensive Scouser.
WHY WE SHOULD SUPPORT CHELSEA...
* It's always so much more civilised (and a lot less gloat-tastic) if trophies are shared around. Four trophies, four winners is a lovely outcome for the neutral.
* Avram Grant could dispel the 'Special One' myth once and for all, by achieving what Jose Mourinho completely failed to achieve while Chelsea manager.
* To avoid the 'is this the greatest ManYoo team ever?' bollix that we will undoubtedly have to endure if ManYoo win.
* We English love an underdog. And on this occasion, Chelsea are the underdog.
* Despite the presence of Ashley Cole, Drogba and Terry, they do have some likeable players. The form of Ricardo Carvalho, Petr Cech and Michael Essien in particular over the last two years is probably deserving of a Champions League medal.
* Rio Ferdinand and Ronaldo will probably cry if ManYoo lose. Who wouldn't want to see that?
* Ji-Sung Park, John O'Shea and Darren Fletcher should be nowhere near the title of 'European champion'.
* To see Sir Alex Ferguson's face turn redder than Red Square.
* To irritate all the millions of ManYoo 'fans' who would otherwise celebrate in your face on Thursday morning, despite the fact that you support Huddersfield Town and dream of nothing more than a League One play-off place.
* Because who chooses the devil when the deep blue sea is an option?

hopes lifting the Champions League with Chelsea would be enough to
convince Fabio Capello to restore him to the England captaincy.
Terry lost the armband when Capello took charge of the national
team this year, with the Italian rotating his captains before settling
on a permanent skipper for the start of next season's World Cup
qualifiers.
So far, Steven Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand have led England under
Capello, with the latter set to captain Manchester United against
Chelsea in Moscow.
Terry said in The Sun: "I am disappointed with what has happened.
"I want the armband and my England place back. Maybe a
performance in this final would go a long way to getting those things
back.
"But Rio has been different class this year and particularly since he was made captain against France.
"We have seen a world-class player at the top of his game and, as a centre-half looking on, I would say he has been awesome.
"But I want to get out there and prove I am the right man for the England job."

This is the first champions league final that I just can't enjoy at all, usually these are the games I look forward to the most, obviously more so when Liverpool are involved but because I hate these two teams so much all i feel is a sickness when I look at this game, I hope Chelsea win it but i'd rather the game gets called off and no one wins it this year.

this final kind of sneaked up on me. not expecting alot and i doubt it will deliver with these two teams but maybe a early goal can make the teams drop the defence aproach.

This is what i worry will happen. i doubt either team will suddenly open up for the final so it will prob be a tactical affair.I hope Man utd play two strikers and use them as strikers because if it becomes a battle of 4-5-1 with each team then its destined to be a boor.

Not seen any build up bar a few newspapers. And been busy with people who don't have an interest football, so not into the whole feeling just yet. But im sure most other man utd fans are so shut your face son
Do you have a link for the Makelele tackle btw luis? what do you make of Makelele doing that s4p? not only the injury to Cole but must leave a bad taste in a few players mouths

Saha to come off the bench and get a winner, it's just written in the stars
It's always difficult to play against Chelsea, because most of their players are tall and pyschically strong, so i doubt we'll play our best stuff. Vidic being back should stop any Ballack headers this time.
Im still pissed how we lost at stamford bridge. Hope Ronaldo turns up if only not to read pages of Cr@p on here.
No idea about the rest of the midfield guess Scholes will play. Here's to 17-3
2.0 scores and will buy an Agentina shirt with

Diego Maradona is backing Manchester United in tonight's Champions League final against Chelsea because of Carlos Tevez. The former Argentina great admitted he will turn
into a United fan for one day because he wants Tevez to win the
Champions League in Moscow.Speaking in Cannes, where Maradona is promoting
the film 'Maradona' by the Bosnian director Emir Kusturica, he said: "I
think Manchester will beat Chelsea. My friend Carlitos (Tevez) plays
there."I think Manchester win tomorrow, even though I have quite a lot of friends in several teams."
