You talk about humiliation by them giving you the guard of honor. That has nothing to do with football.

    $h!t on a stick?

    Fack off.

Highest scoring team in the leauge. Fact.
    Fewest goals conceded fact.

    Ale

Effenberg's never been a fan of RM, so it's not a suprise with these coments. First and foremost the leauge should be won, then the guard of honour comes. Barca players clapping our players onto the pitch, if your a fan and don't enjoy that. Well then theres something wrong with you Ale

Bayern best squad in Europe btw Ale Wink

Its tradition to do this when a team wins the league before time. Man utd did it for Chelsea when Chelsea won the league before the won. this has everything to do with rivalry and football. what are you on about?

I have no problem with losing that game at all. It was a deserved trashing.

Doesn't change the fact that you all need a dose of humility, especially after your fourth straight 2nd round exit in the CL. With the money you spend EVERY season that's just pathetic.

ManU and Chelsea doing it is a different story. Over there it's about mutual respect, with Madrid it's about humiliation as you've said yourself.

Man Utd and Chelsea aren't rivals. Barcelona and Madrid are. That is the difference. If you can't understand that, sorry. Barcelona fans were happy to gloat and celebrate in our faces two and three seasons ago when they were winning, now it's our turn.

Well Man utd and Chelsea arent exactly huge rivals like Real and Barca. if it was Inter and Juve/Milan then im sure Inter would love to do it. ask Golsud if he wants to humiliate Real like this.

If Effenbergh wants humility he should look back to two years ago when that ungrateful ape Eto'o was chanting "Madrid, cabro! Saluda al Campeon".

Football is not Tennis. It's not about sucking up to your opponent when you win or lose and talk about how amazing they are. There is some sportmanship involved, but there's just as much "rubbing the victory in your opponent's face" as anything else.

That's football, and that's partly why I love it so much. As Jaime said, Madrid fans spent three years listening to cules gloating as if they were the best team of all time, our turn to gloat has come.

Barcelona playing that well was always a myth. A lot of people got that impression from the 0-3 in the Bernabeu, but in fact the team had numerous mediocre games throughout the season. The point is also that this is Schuster's first season, and he could easily turn it around after gaining a year of experience, just like Rijkaard did. Big difference being that Schuster at least won (almost) the league comfortably in his first season.

That Barcelona team certainly didn't come close to playing as well as Madrid did from 1999-2004. That was a real champaign football team who also played all-out attack in the CL, unlike Farca.

Schuster had a team that had won the league the previous season and spent shitloads to sign players. Rijkaard inherited a team that had won f@ck all for 6 seasons and spent less than Chuster......

Maybe you didn't watch Barça play often but those two years there were a joy to watch. Even the neutrals say that...
