I always rated Salgado. Maybe he was a bit past it by then though.

I remember an interview with Steve Mcmanaman once, where he had been terrified of Salgado - the toughest player he had ever played against or with Biggrin

I think it helps make it even better. there hasnt been that many though. directly i think only Shuster,Laudrup,Figo. i wouldnt count Saviola since it was on a free. for Barcelona i only know of Luis Enrique.
I thinks it worse with Milan and Inter though.

They keep buying each other players and call themselves rival , heck Man City wont sell to Man Utd never mind Liverpool or somebody would need a house inside OT.

If it happened on a regular basis then it take some gist out of it but it rarely happens. what players have crossed from Liverpool to Manchester or the other way around.

It's not because Barça want to sell players to Madrizz. Figo went there because they paid the release clause, Barça can't do anything about that. Saviola was out of contract so he was free to choose who to join, Barça couldn't say "hey don't join Madriz".

So its only really Shuster and Laudrup. both times if understand correctly there was problems with management.
