    A few interesting names.

Good to see Ashton, Huddlestone in there.

Jagielka, Warnock...hmm. not sure why we need Warnock, surely he's about 4th choice lb at best.

I'm happy with that (I'm thinking Shrewsbury must get a %). We get 500k when he plays for England apparently, which will be a massive boost for next season.

Lescott's injured I take it? Can't see why he'd not be taken over Jagelka if that was the case.

during Everton's dodgy spell late on in the season, Jagielka has been excellent. he started the season a little shakily but has been v good since

I think it is because Cole doesn't seem to know how to cross and Bridge isn't getting enough (though then why is he in the squad?) games. Who is third choice? Warnock can cross but I would say Shorey is better from what I have seen. Also what happened to Baines.

England does have options in leftback its right back we have problems in.

Well England aren't in Euro 2008. But so what if he is picking lesser favoured players. Jagielka has been great for Everton.

Also Capello has seen quite a few Man U games now and yet Carrick still not being picked surely tells you something about his opinion of Carrick. Whichj happens to match mine that he is overrated.

Huddlestone has also been selected because Michael Carrick is unavailable, and it is understood that the United man may need an operation this summer to cure a knee problem.

There was widespread bemusement at Carrick’s omission from the squad for the friendly defeat by France in March, so impressive has he been for Manchester United, but it is believed that he may have a minor knee operation in the summer to be fit for next season.

yeah I'd put Shorey ahead of Warnock. Baines seems not to have established himself at Everton, although he's still young.

RB is the problem zone. Hopefully Johnson can sort himself out and establish himself, because he can be very good on his day, just still a bit inconsistent.
