Yes, he has. I'm pretty sure he'll only play a few minutes each game. He's going to warm the bench that's for sure.

Marseille just bought Brandao from Donesk. Does anyone know things about him, except that he looks like Drogba?

I don't think he is the greatest influence for a dressing room.

Haven't seen so much of Brandao, I do remember him scoring against Celtic in the CL though.

Also what's the lastest with Govou? Some of his recent comments about his Lyon team mates are bizarre to say the least.

Govou is injured for the rest of the season, karma karma.

It's been Govou's month this month on the tabloids.

First, he got stopped by the police totally wasted after a party (2.6 grams). Then he openly criticized all his team mates, which is a very nice thing to do. Then today he broke or badly twisted his ankle and will be out for the rest of the season. What a star!

Bostjan Cesar from Marseilles to Grenoble.

One of the dirtiest CB's around, an erratic defender but a talented ball player with an excellent left foot.

Ligue 1 is on fire now, along with Bundesliga they are back as the most balanced ones in the main leagues.

Never expected that Lyon would slip in such a spectacular fashion. Still, they are first and that means something.

Do you think Lyon will recover from this bad form?

What a run-in that's going to be - 6 teams in with a chance of winning the title, or at least causing an upset or two and getting a CL spot, or disrupting someone else's title run.

One problem for Marseille is they are still in the Uefa cup, and got a positive result against Ajax last week...anyone know how their squad size/strength is? They may have to consider throwing that and focus on the league.

What is the situation with the French Cup - who will have extra fixtures? I think all the big teams are still in it, no?

This year has been great for other clubs than Lyon and this can only be positive. Clubs like Marseille and Paris have made some good transfers this summer and this is paying off.

Difficult to know who's going to win the league this year, it could be an of those teams: Lyon, Marseille, P.S.G, Toulouse, Rennes, Bordeaux and Lille.

The games those teams will likely drop points:

P.S.G will be playing at Toulouse next week, not an easy game.

For the 30th day Marseille will have a difficult trip at St Etienne who're 18th and would need a desperate win.

For the 31th game P.S.G will have a difficult game away at Lille (you trashed Lyon 2 times in a row two weeks ago).

The 32th game will be a very interesting Bordeaux-Lyon game.

    33th Lille Marseille, Rennes-Bordeaux, Lyon P.S.G

    34th Marseille-Toulouse. P.S.G Rennes,

    35 Th Derby Nice-Marseille, Toulouse-Lille

    35 Marseille-Lyon

    38 Last game:
    Toulouse-Lyon
    Lille-Nancy
    Caen-Bordeaux
    P.S.G-Monaco
    Marseille-Rennes

Difficult to tell, but Lyon have an advantage now they aren't no longer playing in Europe.

In a few weeks there'll be a few clubs safe from relagtion with nothing left to win. Those are the ideal opponents. Those still fighting relegation could be much tougher.

    Absolutement uncallable.

I would think Gignac is a more complete player, Hoarau is only a better header. Two years ago medias were saying that Gignac had the potential to become a good player but he did fock all last season, so let's wait and see with him. Hoarau did well last year in second divition, he scored 28 goals, so it is quite a surprise to see him ranked so high only after a few months experience at the highest level.

I think Marseille will win it this year.. they deserve it more than us...

Niang was injured for a few months so he only played 21 games but he still managed to score 8 goals. I'm sure he would be toping the list if he didn't get injured.

Cavenaghi's been injured for the rest of the season...... so the top scorer will be either Gignac, Hoarau or Benzema.

Two players have really impressed this year, Bastos (Lille) and Gameiro (Lorient). Bastos is a Brazilian offensive midfielder who has 13 goals and 8 assists, while Gameiro is a young French (21 y.o), who's played for France (-17, -18, -19) and done well in the league (8 goals).
