Does Adriano look reaaaaally fat only for me? lol!

Ibra is Ibra. Those assists were just brilliant, specially the one for Adriano's goal!!!

Good to start the CL with a win after such a long time... that too an away win, nice. We'll sail through this group.

Yeah, I remember right after the Africa Cup, Schaaf wanted to put him in after 80 minutes, but he refused to play because Schaaf dared to bring the great Sanogo so late and just for 10 minutes.

And last Tuesday he left the stadium rigtht after the final whistle out of protest, because Schaaf didn´t let him start. After all the great Sanogo scored the 3-0 against Cottbus last weekend demonstrating his world class once more.

Believe it or not, but Allofs confirmed today Werder got an offer from some Arabian club where Winnie Schäfer is coach these days. Apparently they offered 10m (!!!) Euro for him. But unfortunately Sanogo didn´t want to leave, he wants to become first choice in Bremen again. Rolling Eyes Grr

That's hardly a sign of extraordinary quality though. Sanogo can't play football. That ain't a secret. He has the quality to be at the right place at the right time quite often, that's why he still manages to score.

But I do think a great deal of Pizarro. He just seems to be out of shape at the moment.

Just the comparison to Sanogo is a bit....well...it's not THAT hard to be a better footballer than Sanogo is.

chrissicross wrote:The problem here is that we can´t use the CL money for wages, other clubs can spend more here, even without CL. After all Bremen is not München, Hamburg, Dortmund...

Um....what exactly are we doing in the 'money list' here? Did I miss something Question *raises eyebrows*

Really, I'v only seen a few times, but every time he has been pretty decent. Can't say if I just got lucky in terms of his performances, but there seemed to be more to his game that just being in the right place at the right time. He made some of his own chances in ACN and converted them. He was pretty decent when he got the chance. Drogba even said that Sanogo reminded him of himself at that age. He seems to have a bit more talent than you suggest but appears inconsistent especially in second half of season.

He did at ACN, and did pretty well both off the bench and when he got the chance to start. Might have created false impression but he did look decent there.

    Or balotelli with Quaresma/mancini.

The big question remains that Ibra is just not the central striker for Mourinho's 433/451 to work. Adriano or Crespo are better suited for that. Perhaps the solution is to play Ibra as an AM, he has the skills to do that, whether he has the apitite to work harder is another question.

This is our problem, Mourinho is trying to force fit a great 442 squad into his own formation, and that may never be optimal.

Inter played a beautiful first half tho. And Adriano looked really good tonight.

I was quite impressed with the way they played. IMO Diego with the MOTM, but others like Naldo, Frings, Ozil, and Pizzaro also had a good game. So did Weise, he was very good in timing his runs to block (specially the one on Ibra).

Well, Stank looked back in form in the pre-season, then the injury happened and now he again looks off-colour.

I guess it would be better to play Quaresma instead of Stank at the mo. My prefered Inter line-up would be:

    Cesar
    Maicon - Cordoba - Samuel - Zanetti
    Cambiasso - Muntari
    Quaresma ------------------ Balotelli
    Adriano - Ibrahimovic

    or
    Cesar
    Maicon - Cordoba - Samuel - Zanetti
    Cambiasso - Muntari
    Quaresma ----- Ibrahimovic ----- Balotelli
    Adriano

Basically, Ibra needs someone further upfront than himself in order to do his magic. This is a fact that every Inter fan seems to know, wonder how long it will take Mourinho to figure it out!!!!

Well done Anorthosis. You have better team than us.Ketsbaia formatted a defensive tactic and strikes Panathinaikos in the counter attack.Your midfield line was so closed with your defensive line(Dellas made a fantastic game, and this role I think switching on his abilities) forcing Panathinaikos make long balls to find Salpingidis.
I think(even Internazionale) nobody will win in Cyprus.

Werder exploited with the best way she could the suspension of Materrazi.Werder has a creative midfield line(Diego,Ozil) and I am sure that he's the favorite for the next matchday game against us.
