If a player is brilliant creatively and intelligent on the ball it doesn't seem to be something they've learnt as they've developed as a footballer, but rather something they've been born with.

Babel is strong and direct, but he's dumb. We have enough strong and direct players in the team in Gerrard and Kuyt, and they are both better than Babel. Sure, sometimes he makes a difference when he comes on for the last few minutes, but you don't expect a player you paid £11million or whatever for to be invisible every time he starts a game.

I don't think Babel will ever be the player his price tag suggested he would be, he can't learn intelligence. I think we should cash in before everyone else realises he's not all that.

Cotter will think you're mad. Laughing

Rafa is slowly breaking down Keane.

    I do indeed T/S Laughing

How can he be anyhting other than inconsistent ? He never gets any regular playing time

I refuse to believe he could be worse than Dirk and Keane up front. But as rafa doesn't rate him there is no point even getting worked up about it anymore.

The season started so well for babel, now his liverpool career looks like its over through no real fault of his own

I'm gutted about tonight, but there's always next week and it's hardly as if we have it bad now is it cyclops

    @ Luis

Don't blame gerrard. He did his job. He dominated the midfield and gave the wingers and fullbacks plenty of ammunition. His crossing was also excellent tonight. Sure it's horrible to see him go into superman overdrive but it sure as hell beats the other players not giving a f@ck

Hull have put in their best performances away from home and unlike West Ham and Fulham have a match winner.

We are usually turd at that hole called Ewood Park, under Rafa.

Babel is very linear is the best way I can put him. In his development and style of play. Saying that Rafa clearly hates him and isn't giving him any real mins to do something. At least at the start of the season he was being given 25mins to make a difference and was playing pretty well. Now he's lucky to get 10mins.

    Sorry.

A bit of frustration coming out.

Plus was kind of making light of Rafa's treatment of the likes of Pennant and Babel. Both were tailormade for this game.

Again aplogises, bourne out of frustration ok

But when he does play he either cuts inside, runs blindly at the defence and loses the ball, or he miss controls it and loses it near the halfway line. That's nothing to do with not being played regularly imo, that’s just lack of intelligence. If there is any chance he will ever come good, it's going to be as a striker not a winger. He just can't seem to play effectively on the left unless he comes on near the end and uses all of his retard energy to run through tired defences. His retard energy isn't effective when he starts games though, as usually Premiership defences can counter it with regular energy.

Keane has been so $h!t recently I think it's worth giving Babel a go up front, but I still don't think he'll ever be a great player wherever he plays.

if you need a reminder of what Babel is capable of look on youtube for

the goal he scored against Newcastle last season
the goal he scored against Chelsea last season
the goal he scored against Arsenal last season
the goal he scored against Derby last season

    or any compilation

not to mention the winner against Manchester United.

    Everyone's racist to some extent.

Not as in violent or abusive but in having pre-conceived ideas of what that person's going to be like based on their ethnicity.

Rafa got rid of Sissoko, never plays Pennant or Babel and regularly fields an all white team in the EPL in this day and age.

Plus he signed torres when he could have just as easily signed Akinbiyi or Cameron Jerome who are pretty much identical - he's clearly a racist.

Your chase for the title is a bit like Villa's for 4th. We maybe sitting in a great position now and again, but every time we need to push on, we slip up, and in the end a more seasoned contender will take the spot (1st: ManUtd, 4th: Arsenal...). It's a cruel game Sad
