Babel is strong and direct, but he's dumb. We have enough strong and direct players in the team in Gerrard and Kuyt, and they are both better than Babel. Sure, sometimes he makes a difference when he comes on for the last few minutes, but you don't expect a player you paid £11million or whatever for to be invisible every time he starts a game.

I don't think Babel will ever be the player his price tag suggested he would be, he can't learn intelligence. I think we should cash in before everyone else realises he's not all that.

Babel is very linear is the best way I can put him. In his development and style of play. Saying that Rafa clearly hates the n****r and isn't giving him any real mins to do something. At least at the start of the season he was being given 25mins to make a difference and was playing pretty well. Now he's lucky to get 10mins.

How can he be anyhting other than inconsistent ? He never gets any regular playing time

I refuse to believe he could be worse than Dirk and Keane up front. But as rafa doesn't rate him there is no point even getting worked up about it anymore.

The season started so well for babel, now his liverpool career looks like its over through no real fault of his own


I'm gutted about tonight, but there's always next week and it's hardly as if we have it bad now is it

Rafa got rid of Sissoko, never plays Pennant or Babel and regularly fields an all white team in the EPL in this day and age.

Plus he signed torres when he could have just as easily signed Akinbiyi or Cameron Jerome who are pretty much identical - he's clearly a racist.
