Randall will have a very good career i think. And Gibbs could be a good deputy left back for a long time.

And Melchiot had their fault there, not keeping a defensive line trying to defend too close on Merida I think...Glenn Hysén wrote:when Bramble is playing like this it's surely best to take him off. Some days he is world class, but other's he is a walking own goal.
English goal for Arsneal, made by Wilshire, scored by Simpson. Terrible play from the Wigan midfield.

Apparently some of the senior Arsenal players spoke to the younger ones before the Sheff Utd tie which is an example of the wonderful togertherness at the club.
Apparently the team warmed up together before tonights game which is an example of the togertherness at the club.
And to top it all off Wilshere passes for Vela but Simpson gets on teh end to score and according to Marwood its as good as any goal this season.
Yeah much better than Bentley v Arsenal and Lampard v Hull
Ban all ex-Arsenal players from the media - the only saving grace is that it isn't Jonathon Pierce otherwise those sitting below the gantry would be covered in C0ck-snot by now.
I hope Wigan win tonight, not just for this, because Wenger's dad fought for Germany in the 2nd World War and it would be wrong for his son to win in an English Cup competition on this of all days.
He was "forced" to fight for Germany apparently - I bet they all were if you ask them now

What a result that would be If the youngster hold on to that scoreline.
When talking about Ramsey's qualities, the focus of the discussion should be, what can't the boy do? really, what does he lack?
Wilshere is just unbelievable for his age.
Kirkland has been class.

Wigan are the most underrated team in the league. Don't let their recent results or league position fool u, I have seen them being more than a match for both Chelsea and Pool this season. They didn't deserve to lose both games.
I was a little bit too late, could somebody post Starting XI for Arsenal?
-------------Fab
hoyte---Song--Jewroo---------Gibbs
Wilshere---Randall--Ramsey--merida
-------Simpson---Vela
Fabianski looks shaky at the moment, Wilshere keeps impressing me and it's very, very open and entertaining game to watch.

Excellent point TS, they are in fact $h!t.
Lupoli was a poacher and Quincy a complete merchant. Nether had the same technical ability.

Come on now, People were spunking themselves silly over that bunch as well.
Quincy had a tonne of skill+pace, but zero brain.
Lupoli was gonna be better than Rossi, and was a good bet for the Italian Euro 2008 squad.

Spare me. Let's see this lot week-in, week out against EPL & CL opposition if their that damn good.
it's a bit part of English commentary though. You'll never get such exaggeration in Holland. The way English commentators call about every thing Rooney, Lamps or Gerrard do brilliant is very irritating too. Though find it funny other players always 'fail to connect' to their (poor) passes.David Plouffe™ wrote:Vela with a nice chip.
