Spare me. Let's see this lot week-in, week out against EPL & CL opposition if their that damn good.

ok Would love to see this midfield against our powerhouse midfield of Mikel, Essien, Ballack & Lampard.

They're very very good youngsters, and 2-3 of them will probably become 1st team regular starters in the next couple of years, but right now they're no world beaters.

I agree. They would be dominated by the best midfield in the world.

One touch, ball still moving away from goal, running at speed under pressure from defender and running sideways.

    Such a difficult technique.

    ok

I appreciate it. Djourou, Ramsey & Vela impress me. Wilshere & Song are good too. The rest strike me as players who'd be $h!t without Wengerball.

Amaury Bischoff is coming on. Must be World Class. £5mil worth already!

Ray Parlour: "Their so good, that their now being rested for the next round, lolz." Mad

I dont have the joys of Ray Parlour.

I imagine youre probably right there but at the same time, it wouldnt suprise me if randall (and possibly simpson) had a career like Sidwell.

Parlour is a tool, but no matter how much spunk he dribbles over these kids, it shouldn't deflect from the fact that they are pretty $h!t hot.

This is Wigan after all- not some 2nd or 3rd division outfit.

Only caught the end of the game. Beautiful chip from Vela, and fantastic save from Fabianski to tip the ball onto the crossbar. Obviously the Carling Cup is a completely different situation to playing regularly in the league, but some of the squad players were impressive again. The likes of Vela deserve more of a chance in the first team from what I've seen.
