City are so lucky. They didn't even qualify for the tournament, and here they are playing a team of monkeys in the last 32. Rolling Eyes

They seem fated to win this thing, the way it's gone for them

City will probably play another Danish team in the next round. Aalborg, one of the several teams Man Utd have drawn with on their 20 games unbeaten run.

In a way I am really glad Milan are going out. Hopefully, this means Ancelotti will finally leave, and we'll get a coach who will revitalize this team.

I am glad because that shithead Galliani will have one less excuse now. I wouldn't count on Ancelotti leaving though, those management contes won't find a better lapdog than him so they'll never fire him.

He(Galliani) said our primary objective was the league and we failed.

I honestly couldn't care less about the UEFA Cup( even if we had won it) and at least now Uncle Fester won't be able to come up with some crap like "well we couldn't win the scudetto but we won the UEFA Cup".

About the game, it was disgraceful to watch from our part and 100% deserved for Werder, they were the better team in both legs. Congrats to them.

Feel for Fiorentina! They desperately need some quality experienced players in that squad.

Anyways, this could be a blessing in disguise for them - now they can focus on retaining that 4th place.... hell, they are only 3 points below Milan on the table, they could push them....

I hope you guys buy another top CB, and Nesta comes back next season to join Thiago and the new CB... then you will be a great team again.

Milan just needed to spend like 10-15M to be a top team in Italy and Europe. they already spend $120M on salaries... talk about penny wise pound foolish!
