A permanent transfer or with a buy back option. Remember seeing him for Spains u-20 and he was quite good allthough very slight in stature.

I think Deportivo would first offer a loan with a first option to buy if both clubs are in agreement at the end of the loan.

Espanyol are also tracking Ochoa (Mexican goalkeeper), though I assume it depends on Kameni going.

I think Espanyol would have Kameni back but only at a reasonable choice. Since it doesn't appear that Kameni has a lot of other offers maybe he'll end up back there after all.

Apparently Deportivo La Coruna have an agreement to sign Palacio from Boca Juniors. While the hype of 2-3 seasons ago has died down a bit, I still imagine he'd cost around 8-10m euros. Don't know how Depor can afford that.

A bit strange that rumour is nowhere to be found in Marca or AS.

Yeah, in fact, the Filipe to Barça story has come up again, for 10m plus one canterano on loan, because "Depor are short of cash".

El portero camerunés, Carlos Kameni y el Espanyol, llegaron este martes a un acuerdo para renovar el contrato del guardameta, el cual finalizaba el próximo 30 de junio, por cuatro temporadas más.

Las negociaciones entre Kameni, concentrado con la selección de Camerún, y el club catalán se han resuelto mucho antes de lo previsto. Aunque durante toda la temporada se especuló con la marcha segura del portero camerunés, finalmente las dos partes han llegado a un acuerdo para ampliar su vinculación.

El cancerbero, que llegó en la temporada 2004-05 con Miguel Ángel Lotina en el banquillo, aceptó la oferta planteada por el club barcelonés y que le convierte en jugador españolista hasta el 30 de junio de 2013.

Kameni, quien incluso dio la sensación de despedirse de la afición en el último partido de Liga ante el Málaga, no ha encontrado ninguna oferta que satisficiera sus intereses. Por otra parte, su buena relación con el presidente del Espanyol, Daniel Sánchez Llibre, también ha sido clave en las negociaciones.

*Caparros wants to bring Villarreal striker Joseba Llorente to Athletic. Meanwhile Villarreal are interested in Negredo (nothing new) to replace him.

*Filipe Luis to Barcelona (as kas mentioned). Barcelona are offering 5m euro while Deportivo want 10m plus a loaned player. If Filipe leaves they would be interested in Calleja (Malaga) or David Garcia (Espanyol) as a replacement

*Zigic has returned to Valencia after spending the second half of the season on loan back at Racing. He won't be staying however with clubs from England and Italy interested.

*Racing interested in keeping Jonathan Pereira (Villarreal) on loan for another season and they are also hoping to take Mati Fernandez on loan.

*Pellegrini has recommended Claudio Bravo as a replacement for Jerzy Dudek as Casillas' backup. Real Madrid would offer 3m euro for the Real Sociedad goalkeeper.
