There have been rumours from the beginning that we had a backup plan if we could not sign Villa. The first name was Forlan more recently it's Benzema.
If we don't get Villa, I would prefer we just go with Higuain and Negredo...and maybe keep RVN. Because although I think Villa is great and would love to have him, we really do need more players for the midfield, that should be the priority. And a left back.
