I wouldn't trust what the papers say. Villa signing was a question of time and that statement came from the president.

I think only Messiah believes you are signing Cesc. I don't believe that Laporta would make another Pique and not at that price. I don't know enough about the candidates but im just going by how the correlation Real Madrid and Barcelona have in terms of succes. It suggest that either Barcelona will be going down soon or that Real Madrid under Perez might not become a succes.
