Footballers graveyard
Dyer, Hughes, Jenas, Woodgate for 8 figures, Hamann for 8 figures aswell, Given, Parker, Milner was 8 figures, N'Zogbia.
You've been owned Token.
Dyer? Kieron Dyer? He went to West Ham for 6 million. That's not 8 figures. You bought him for 6 million. That's not a profit.
Hughes? Which Hughes? Aaron Hughes? He went to Villa for 1 million. that's not 8 figures.
Woodgate? Jon Woodgate? He did go for 13 million. That is 8 figures. Well done
Hamman? Didier Hamman? He went to Liverpool for 8 million. That's not 8 figures.
Not sure I can continue, but at a punt Milner went for 8 figures at a profit, ditto Given, but not N Zogggggbeer and not Peter Parker
Token doesn't appear to have been owned
You're a plonker, he said name the players that went for a profit OR that went for 8 figures. I'll walk you through my simple post 0trick.
Dyer, bought for 6 sold for 7
Hughes, signed for peanuts sold for something like 2
Woodgate, bought for 9, sold for 13.4
Hamann, bought for 4, i thought he was bought for 10 but it appears it may have been 8, who cares
Given, signed for peanuts, sold for 6-8 or whatever it was
Parker, signed for 6, sold for 7
Milner, signed for 3.6, sold for 12
Zog, signed for peanuts, sold for 6.5 plus a donkey
There could be more, those were just off the top of my head.
Meh, it's how you scribed your post.
The mere fact you've listed Kieron Dyer as an example of a Newcastle profit making should make it clear how bad your club has been at it. The BBC suggests he went for 6 to West Ham, but even if he went for 7 million, 1 million profit is nothing to write home about. It'd take you in the region of 20+ Kieron Dyer's to cover the losses you made on Michael Owen and that Spanish striker from a few years back
