That would be quite an achievement on his part and a bit of a miracle since I don't think Owen's been able to even hit the magic mark of 20 league goals in a single season.
He's just ANOTHER media creation. NEVER hit 20 goals in a season, NEVER! He's milked a career out of that goal against Argentina in '98. He's just at Man Utd to sell T-shirts now. True story!

I've just looked at redcafe to see if Man U fans are happy about Owen being Ronaldo's replacement, apparently they are over the moon, he will score goals and it's Newcastle has been dragging him down. No dount it's Newcastles fault that Nolan, Barton, Colo, Butt, and Duff play shit aswell. Some people will be in for a nasty surprise when he stops them winning the title.

Well i don't believe that would be possible, but really my only feeling would be that he doesn't deserve it. In my opinion all he deserves is a horrible career ending injury. There isn't a player i respect less than Michael Owen.

Going to be an interesting season seeing what happens with Owen. Man U are use to having a player not tracking back as much up front with Berbatov last season in this respect both players are similar. The way Berbs played he could not do his clever flick-ons he did it at Spurs, build ups are different at Man U maybe both players will have a better season and play like Keane and Berbs at Spurs if they ever got to play together.
