ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has revealed he is not prepared to meet Bordeaux’s demands for wantaway striker Marouane Chamakh.
The French club are believed to be holding out for as much as £15m for the Morocco international, with Arsenal reportedly tabling a bid of just under £6m.
Chamakh, who has one year left on his contract, is desperate to leave Bordeaux, with Arsenal thought to be his preferred destination.
"In five months, if he doesn't prolong his contract, Chamakh will be free to talk to any club and Bordeaux won't get anything,” said Wenger.
"In the current context, to me, it is over. Let's say that at the moment it is terminated.
"I like Chamakh, he is a forward that attracts me, but I already have [Theo] Walcott, [Nicklas] Bendtner , [Robin] van Persie, [Andrei] Arshavin and Eduardo. I am in no rush.
"My offer seems fair to me, taking the market into account. Chamakh would be good, but there are other options should we wish to pursue them."

Guz, I only think we are likely to seign one strong DCM due to our new formation.
It will be someone in the Song/Yaya mould, and then one of Nasri or Rosicky partnering Cesc giving it a look like this:
