You got your wish, Yak is now replacing Odemwingie.

Two upfront, Obasi and Obinna on the wings. Flat 4-4-2

From what I saw Nigeria finally showed some stuff but on the basis of the entire cup they shouldn't even have been let in the tournament with the attitude they arrived in. Hopefully they build on that.

    GHANA cheers

Now to deciding which of the arab nations are going to get beaten in the final. Very Happy

1815: Nigeria captain Peter Odemwingie: "I think we have used all the luck we had so far in this tournament. Ghana deserved the victory they played very well. We played as individuals not as a team and I think we need more tactical flexibility than to play 4-3-3 all the time. We need to play more attacking football. We played with one striker and it did not help us and we did not get a lot of chances. We could have played much better."

All kicking off now - Algeria concede a pen, and the player whose foul led to it is sent off. Egypt put away the pen quickly and Algerian goalie goes ballistic, chases the ref and practically headbutts him. And doesn't get sent off lol!

    WOW! 4-0 for Egypt? Shocked

Surely the ref had a serious influence on this result. I saw them play in the qualifiers and Algeria are CLEARLY THE SUPERIOR TEAM.

Egypt has no chance against Algeria UNLESS helped by a crooked ref. That's why Algeria KO Egypt from the World Cup.

Here in the ACN, there was highway robbery without a doubt. The only way Egypt can beat Algeria...with a paid off ref. Biggrin <Ale>

Did you actually see the game Puro?

Algeria were lucky to go into half time with 10 men. Only the way Egypt's penalty was taken was dodgy. Otherwise its 3 of the most blatant red cards you will ever see.

the referee didn't have a good game, the first yellow (that lead to the red) was harsh to say the least. A better ref would have either given it, or given a final warning for the penalty foul.
