Stuttgart with a huge escape there. If the ref had spotted that it would almost certainly have been a penalty and a red card.
But it would have been completely unfair considering that Ibra only controlled it by using his arm! I really think Barcelona should be banned from European Competitions for being cheats.
Didn't notice that initially.

Effenberg, I think if the referee had spotted it he would have given the penalty. It looked to me like it hit him high up on the arm, and he moved slightly towards the ball. It certainly denied a goal, so I think the ref would have felt obliged to award a penalty.

I can see why the Arsenal fans rated Hleb...not even sure if tonight is an example of him at his best but he never even played close to this in Barcelona.

    WHAT?!

He was hit on the shoulder. No intent and no hand to ball AND Ibrahimovic controlled the ball with his hand first. The only penalty in this game should have been for Stuttgart in the first half.

Huge worry here for the rest of Europe, Busquets has gone down with an injury. Hopefully it's nothing and he continues to start every game.

Don't even think he has been that good, at least offensively. Defensively he has done well and he has connected well with Molinaro allthough it hasn't been that difficult passes to be honest. He can do better like he did for Arsenal but doesn't have quite the same confidence.

I think his passing has been tidy he's connected with some good through passes (a couple just offsides but you can see the intent) as well. But however you want to rate t his performance he was infinitely worse for Barcelona everytime he played.

Puyol is essentially a mediterranean Carragher.

Anyone see how quick Busquets got up there after his dive when he realised that Barcelona weren't going to win a freekick? Not this time cuntface.

Another decision that goes Barcelona's way, I wonder how much cash Laporta spends on refs and Platini.

He doesn't have to pay anything. Usually he just throws some freaky parties that everyone can enjoy.
