I don't see what the bus ride has to do with that. There are more simple tactical explanations for the difference in running distance.

If we want to talk about running, it's worth pointing out that Ibrahimovic apparently covered around the same distance as Victor Valdes (although the latter was on the pitch for around 20 mins more). Now that's a f@cking disgrace Grr

If you really really want, we will let you have Balotelli for Ibra plus 45m Razz

    for me its a 50:50, inters run is very impressive, everything can happen;

barca dont look that strong, they clearly weakened themself by selling eto (pep made inter stronger with the money), also the iniesta injury is an huge blow

i can remember barca creating so much pressure that the enemy dont had a single chance of an counter attack, farca is far away from that level

their is no tactical explanation for the team running all of 10km less, ibra has always been a lazy fuck, that proves nothing, a man of his size can't be running up and down the field like a mad man, he will be done by the half.

I'm taking nothing away from inter, they were the better team, but we were affect by the bus ride.

You need to get an Inter avatar for the 2nd leg, and change your name to "Super Mario Balotelli" ok

I don't think it will be a late goal. I've just got the feeling that we've got nothing to lose and that we are not favourites for once so the players will have less pressure on them. Bad luck mate, this game is gonna be a thriller.

I am pretty sure that Barca will draw first blood, I ve already bet on Messi scoring the 1st goal of the game. But after that, I expect Inter to go after that crucial away goal, which should seal this tie.

I predict 1-1 or 2-1 (don't mind a loss as long as we go thru).

I predict it will be 3-1 and then a refereeing blunder will decide the tie.

Don't know which way though : either Inter will get a penalty for free and proceed, or will be denied a stonewall penalty and be knocked out.

It's just one of those gut feelings, that will be quickly forgotten when the game ends in a completely different score Wink

I think if sniejder doesnt play then inter will definetly look to defend what they have because thier main link up midfielder is out. Still i think barca will win no disrepect to inter but they will crumble under pressure.

Without Sneijder & Pandev (and Balotelli), this could go horribly wrong for Inter, just like last time we went there.

But lets not lose hope yet, Sneijder & Pandev are expected to be fit by wednesday. Inter have to attack like we did at home, coz there is no way we can take 90 minutes of just defending against Barcelona.

I'm pretty sure both will be fit. The best Barça can hope for is that only one of them starts and/or they can't play the full 90.

If not, Inter would have to put out the following lineup Very Happy

COTR, we are Inter, not Liverpool Razz

I don't think we parked the bus at Giuseppe Meazza... and I don't think thats the intent now. Yes, we do not play possession football, and unlike Arsenal, we are not that naive to try and play Barca's game against them... We will stick to our fast counter-attacking game, and if all players are fit, we will start with 4 attacking players like we did at Stamford Bridge.

It will be suicide to "park the bus" against this Barca team, specially with Ibra in it (he is quite a specialist against teams who park the bus, believe me, we know!).

Funny you say that because I remember Kas giving Liverpool credit as one of the few teams to come to the Camp Nou and try to impose some sort of their own game on Barca in a European tie Razz

You will park the bus because Barca will force you to. It may not be by choice but has Jose been involved in a match at the Camp Nou where he hasn't been ultra defensive yet ?

With all the best attacking intentions before a game teams are still often forced to resort to every man behind the ball against Barca. I don't see why this game is going to be any different, especially with your two goal lead resulting in a natural inclination for the Inter players to sit back and the Barca players to attack.

A long 90 minutes of watching awaits Bluey, but Quaresma won't be allowed anywhere near it

Inter will play defence & counter attack, obviously, but if we are fully fit, we will not be ultra defensive. If we are missing some key attacking players, Mou's hand could be forced. However, I am convinced that parking the bus at Nou Camp would be suicide for Inter.

Its going to be a long 90 minutes, mate, I know what you mean... like I said after the draw, the 2nd leg at Nou Camp means that Barca will know they can overturn any first leg result. That hasn't changed. Inter will have to play a great game, and we will ve to score if we want to go through.
