it's straight ten years ago, anyway.

still my guts say that if we are going thru, it should be more because we score than because we concede less than 2.

For once in a semi final between two big clubs I really don't care who goes through.

I'd love to see Barca compete in Madrid's back garden for football's biggest prize, that would be some story.

But I'd love to hear what Mourinho will come out with if Inter were to get there and I can imagine Bayern vs Inter being a bit feisty and a close game whereas Barca would probably win comfortably vs Bayern.

All in all, it's still perfectly 50-50 as it was before the beginning of the tie.

As we were able to show Barca how much we've improved since the group stage, Barca could be able to show Inter that they can still put a couple or more past any team.

Frankly, I'm a believer in my team, but when I think about the game there are so many things that can go horribly wrong that I really don't want to invest any hope in it.
It will be decided by nerves, luck, refereeing, and the ability to ride the tide of the game.
I'm confident we can put in a good performance but I'm not confident at all on the outcome.

The bad thing is that I'm trying to quit/severely reduce smoking these days, but I'm sure I'll need a full 20 pack tonight =D.
Hell any time I think about tonight I'm getting more and more nervous.
I'm even starting to fear Messi, which is the one single Barca player that I never ever thought could be capable of damaging us.
And I'm even starting to project my irrational fears well beyond tonight (say, visualizing huge Verzweiflung awaiting in Madrid for the winner of this tie).

To exorcize all this, I'm going to post again my little voodoo pic.

Tell me about it.... I quit smoking coupla months back, but I could really do with one right now.... the thing is, anyone who has supported Inter thru the dark ages, is a complete nervous wreck before any big Inter game... being an Inter fan is never for the weak hearted Wink

I have a big big key presentation in an hour, what am I doing posting over here?? I think I need some sedatives, like NOW!

Do not fear, Kas. This will be a historic day in several stadiums around the world where the home crowd shall lead their warriors through the valley of the shadows of death, and they will fear no evil.

Well I'm mainly referring to Puro's not quite perfect prediction record Wink

As for the videos and pre-match hype from the players, I already commented on how I think it's silly and unnecessary. It's just like Real Madrid before the Lyon game...when one team talks so much before a match, they rarely end up delivering.

I quite like those sorts of videos personally. Maybe they didn't have to do one like that but when players say they hope the fans get in early and make noise that's generally what happens. Carragher and Gerrard said that before we played Chelsea in 2007 and it was absolutely rocking about 20 minutes before kick off and continued all game.

I can't deny it - I hope Barcelona tear Mourinho a second anus.

Inter fans may protest, but the simple truth is that if Inter make the final, Mourinho will - as sure as day follow night - let everyone know how long it's been since they were last in a CL final. The mainstream media outside of Italy will have it down as Mourinho's glory, not Inter's. Mourinho will make sure that feeling remains the case. You're in a lose-lose situation.

He's been fun to watch, but it's now time for his ego to be deflated before he becomes even more insufferable.
