Now that's what I call a good free-kick. Take note all you fucking whiners who have been complaining about the ball lately.

Chili vs brazil would be entertaining as well i guess.
So far South America and the Asians impressed. Africans...not so much. Can't see any sign of "home advantage" so far

Yes, the first half has been very good to watch. Chile retain the ball well even in tight spaces and are good at raising the tempo with sudden quick passes between the Honduras full-backs and central defenders; and they also look to play sharp and skilful one-twos. I don't think Honduras have looked too bad either considering - they've broken well on a few occasions - the Chilean defenders seem to move and read the game well, but their attacking style leaves spaces at the back, and they perhaps dive in a little quickly sometimes in their attempts to win the ball.
Apparently Bielsa doesn't like to play Fernandez and Valdivia together - they're both playing today because Suazo isn't fully fit, but Bielsa tends to use one or the other as the playmaker in his 3-3-1-3 - and the BBC says that in the five games they have played together under Bielsa, Chile lost every one.

Chile have come out play a style of footy they naturally play everyday excellent. Same with Germany both sides tempo is not effected they are continually creating and building moves to suit there rhythm of play. Defensive sides cannot do this they have to wait and see how the opposition is going to operate.

They have so many players up in attack and still cover well. Honduras is Ranked 38 could also have an influence in the game style also.

They're ranked highly because they play teams like El Salvador on their continent. Most of them are apparently semi-pro's.

Chile are too wasteful, could cost them against stronger opposition. But they are a great team, Bielsa is an excellent coach. Looking forward to them in the tournament.

Agree with blut and bluey, Chile are going to cause some problems in this WC. But ultimately their efficiency in front of goal will have to improve.

Honduras' Martinez gives France's Sagna a good run for the money as far as the worst haircut contest is concerned....

Honduras - Chile 0-1 FT
Good game, Chile clearly deserved to win, too wasteful if anything. Good team with a lot of potential, tactically very interesting, too.
