Im sure in the world cup you'll miss players for some games. Against most teams it wouldn't matter. But im not sure Spain's superiority is there against the non european teams. They don't have the mental view of europeans. Some teams almost give up against Spain they know they wont have the ball cant gear near it they feel inferior. Argentina did pretty well against Spain. USA beat Spain. South Africa almost beat Spain. Brazil im sure would do well. Then in europe nobody even got a draw against spain.
The drawback for España is that they play like a South American team from the 70's-80's -Brasil, Perú, Argentina- and 90's Colombia.
It's beautiful puro toque football, one touch elegant/deadly passing-to-the-death game. Never the less, WE Americans have seen all of that, we are the masters of puro toque football, so seeing how España baffles the rest of Europe with an old brand of football is kind of odd. You're witnessing (with Spain's style) how every South American club mopped the floor with European champ in the Intercontinental Cup until Euros decided to sign all our best players.
Honduras and Chile will be like "these are the champions of Europe?". Honduras to ambush España, and Chile to beat them straight up mano a mano. O' SAY CAN YOU SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE............!!!!!
