They don't have the mental view of europeans. Some teams almost give up against Spain they know they wont have the ball cant gear near it they feel inferior. Argentina did pretty well against Spain. USA beat Spain. South Africa almost beat Spain. Brazil im sure would do well. Then in europe nobody even got a draw against spain.

The drawback for España is that they play like a South American team from the 70's-80's -Brasil, Perú, Argentina- and 90's Colombia.

It's beautiful puro toque football, one touch elegant/deadly passing-to-the-death game. Never the less, WE Americans have seen all of that, we are the masters of puro toque football, so seeing how España baffles the rest of Europe with an old brand of football is kind of odd. You're witnessing (with Spain's style) how every South American club mopped the floor with European champ in the Intercontinental Cup until Euros decided to sign all our best players.

Honduras and Chile will be like "these are the champions of Europe?". Honduras to ambush España, and Chile to beat them straight up mano a mano. O' SAY CAN YOU SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE............!!!!! Whoop

Tweedle, WE South Americans from Brasil, Perú, Argentina, Uruguay TAUGHT them Spanish how to play football. Spain have learned really well, but now let's see how they do against all our teams who've seen that kind of game forever. We have evolved, mixing "puro toque football" WITH more speed.

Spain may own the Europeans, BUT they are gonna suffer against Honduras. Just watch Tweedle, waaaaaTCH! Biggrin <Ale>

We were a real force in the 70's-mid 80's. We KO Argentina and Uruguay from the WC's in their own house no less. We won a Copa América destroying Brasil 1-3 in their own house in front of 150 thousand in an epic semifinal. Pssst! If I were Rueda, I save two or three of my best players for the España game and ambush the coños gallegos with all my might since his team doesn't match up well against Chile in their first game.

It's a gamble, but a risk well worth it. Honduras doesn't match up against Chile, BUT they do have a puncher's chance against España. DO THEY EVER FFS! Send shockwaves around the world after beating España, and then close out the deal with a victory against the Swiss, and just like that they're in the KO stages with Chile. Whoop

Puro, if you are referring to the '70's and mid '80's, the only WC in their house was in '78 and you most definitely DID NOT KO Argentina in that one.

Spain is going to trash this group so easily, that after the second game they will put a B team and rest most of their players. It's all writen in advance. Honduras won't stand a chance. Their best player is 36 years old and all the players play in small teams, except Palacio
    TURKEY - HONDURAS 2-0
    BELARUS - HONDURAS 2-2
    AZERBAIDJAN - HONDURAS 0-0
    ROUMANIA - HONDURAS 3-0

Chili and Switzerland will battle for the second spot. With the Swiss u never know what to get. They can be super annoying to play. It will be interesting to see who will win between them and the Chilian.

Looks like Iniesta is going to be doubt right up until the last. AS saying it will either be Iniesta or Mata to join Casillas, Ramos, Puyol, Pique, Capdevila, Busquets, Alonso, Silva, Xavi, and Villa in the XI.
