I'm sure you won't defend as badly as against Wolverhampton, micro-games force players to focus and concentrate more so i expect a really good home performance from Tottenham.
Such a shame you're not in a challenging position in the Premiership because out of all the English teams in Europe i've seen you definately play the best, vibrant, pacy and technical football and it's strange to see why you're so far behind. I really think you're the 'dark horses' for this Cup, i'm watching the game in a bar in the Square tonight, so i'll be leaving shortly, so wish your club best wishes for tonight and if by some miraculous occurance we managed to contrive a win, can we have Modric?
If you give them Modric, can we have Bale please?

Modric is such a typical Milan player. Bale is such a typical Inter player.

Tonight, magic is gonna happen on the Tottenham lane!

The fans, those loyal fans both black and white, who have waited such a long time in the shadow of their more succesful neighbours for this moment. A moment that will define the future of Tottenham! Tonight history will be rewritten! And after that it's only a few more matches till immortality, and it's written in the stars that London's most illustrious football club will win the ultimate trophy in European football. And will make sure big ears will finally stay longer then one night in England's finest city.

Tonight at 2045, a few hundred kilometers away from that biblical ground called White Hart Lane, a big COME ON YOU SPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRSSS will be shouted, dont fear for it, cause it will be me.

    I predict a nervy 1-1 or 2-1 to us.

Bale/Lennon counter attack to seal it.

Redknapp's 3 favourite strikers have combined for 5 goals in 47 games between them in the league.

Pavlyuchenko, the one who he hates has 7 in 21, not great on the face of it, but his minutes are very limited (12 starts)

Pav's contributions when he's started haven't been good though TS.

Blackpool is a prime example - deary me, he should have had 5. That's the problem with this argument. He's looked good coming off the bench when the opposition is tired, but the chances he's had playing 90 minutes, he hasn't looked convincing enough. Although, to be fair, better than Crouch in the league. Considerably better.

We desperately need a decent top quality striker, I think that's quite blatantly obvious. Defoe and Pav have the ability, but not the consistency

Work rate was good, but his passing and decision making on the ball has been woeful at times since he joined. Hopefully he can rediscover his Everton form - as much as it's important having a facking runner in the team, we've already got Sandro / Jenas / Palacios doing that job: it's important to our style of play to have more invention in the wide areas.

Against Milan and Blackpool there was a lop sided feel to the team with Pienaar when we were on the attack: too much expected of Lennon on the right. Ironic given a few months ago Lennon was playing poorly and too much was expected of Bale.

Both wingers need to step up to the plate tonight. The ideal solution right now would be to merge Pienaar's athleticism with Kranjcar's vision, but they stopped doing those kind of experiments in 1940's Germany so I doubt we'll see anything ready in time for tonight's match.

Birmingham City reached the final of the Inter City Fairs Cup twice, which proves it's not a real tournament. And winning the Cup Winners Cup doesn't exactly disprove the point you've never won the UEFA Cup.

Spurs have 2 UEFA + 1 CWC to your 1 CWC + 1 Fairy Cup. So he's spot on really.

Eh what? The Fairs Cup was blatantly if not technically/officially the predecessor of the UEFA, and the Cup-Winners' Cup is just as good. We've underachieved badly, no question, but to imply we never won anything remains a bit naughty.

Amelia, Strasser, Papastathopoulos, Oddo, Merkel, Yepes, Antonini.

In all these years supporting Milan this bench is easily one of the weakest I've ever seen - backup goalie, 2 CBs, a RB, two youngsters who were Primavera players last season(plus both unfit/coming back from injury) and a useless clown.

Well, you did sign 3 cup-tied players... I can understand Cassano and Van Bommel were great deals, but surely Galliani should ve bought someone who can play CL instead of Emanuelson...

Pirlo and Ambrosini are big misses, they make Milan play with a certain calmness which has been replaced by a bit of panic... at least Boateng is fit.

Pienaar is not a winger, if you expect from him to be a copy of Bale or Lennon, he will fail. Think of him like Modric-lite, when he was still playing out wide, and of course you need a LB to provide width more aften, than when he has Bale ahead of him.

Good start to the game from both sides Ale

Milan looking assured on the ball

The hoofs to Crouch aren't helping Spurs at all

Credit to Milan, they've made a much more positive start to this match than I expected. I feared that it would be a poor game for the neutral, but so far it's been well-balanced with both teams looking to get forward.

Lucky, lucky Gomes. Bailed out by his defenders there, but Milan should have scored.
