Are the Spurs management stupid? or are they stupid

He's slowly turning into Ronaldo. He's still got the odd cross and pass in him but more often than not it's a piledrive from about 25 yards from a weird angle.
Also..I know Adebayor is good and everything, but dont you think you'll get about 3 months out of him and then he'll just go shit and be a c**t? Like he seems to most places? Like a black Mido?

So, the press loved him, particularly last season. So what? Here are the facts:
1) Unlike Frank Lampard / Stevie Me or other Media favourites, he's not desperate to make the team about him. He became labelled as West Ham's talisman in the same way that Modric became labelled ours - the ultimate unselfish team player.
2) This also shows in how he plays - tactically he's very disciplined. You won't find him wandering into attacking positions attempting to grab the headlines like the two mentioned above
3) Although a DM, he can pass forward. And very well. Take note Carrick. Equally, Parker isn't interested in playing hollywood passes or shooting at every opportunity like a certain other well known "CM" pair (see point 1 about the team not being about him)
4) He's one of the last players in the league to still wear black boots. Which says a lot about his character. Very rarely does one hear of Parker's antics or interviews off the pitch. There's a reason for that.
5) He can tackle, but he's clearly not a dirty player who thrived on living off a hard man reputation like a Cattermole or Henry.
Just because the media and 'Arry love him doesn't change the fact that he's the kind of player every club really should have.
I'm absolutely delighted to have him at Spurs

Y'know who your 5 point description also sounds exactly like (even down to the black boots)? Your favourite England player, Gareth Barry

Of course, until he went chasing the money at Man City (at a time when Villa were the better team). And lost all his pace. And ability to pass the ball in tight spaces without clogging it. And being massively exposed at a World Cup for the slow, technically deficient player that he is. But yeah, otherwise, exactly the same

Also..on a slightly unrelated, non Spurs point...who remembers David Wheater?
