So it's safe to say the Aryan vision is well and truly over. Otto will be apoplectic.

Good luck to Samed Yesil, Okan Aydin, Emre Can, Rani Khedira, Levent Aycicek, Robin Yalcin, Koray Kacinoglu, Kaan Ayhan, Noah Korczowski, and Koray Gunter.

The future of Turkish football is safe Ale

And yes, the old ones are still the best Laughing

They're just not used to having to cover the entire goal.

Nah, it's because at the age of 17 we are already guilty of labelling goalkeepers "shit" that is the problem. So he made a positional mistake in a group game in an u17 tournament. Who knows, he may learn from it (shock horror): on rock hard pitches in South America at the height of summer the bounce is very different to on European water softened pitches.

Edit: only just noticed the fence actually goes THROUGH the goal. Brilliant Laugh

    Hypocrisy at its best. lol!

I wonder if you took all the players of African descent from the England team, any England team for that matter, what would be left? Are they 'More English' because of their (colonised) names?

Probably the goal keeper, and he'd manage to cock up in a swamp if necessary, it's just tradition.

We love our blacks. Speaking of traditions, it probably because we didn't try and pack them all off to "holiday" camps in Poland that they now have English names Wink

But in all honesty - it was amazing to see how many of our u21 side were either black or mixed race. It's the future. Just as your side becomes less and less like an Otto wet dream and more of a refugee camp for migrant Turks. Europe in the 21st Century

Come on Blut, even we have to concede him his little joke on this one. You made the point yourself about this particular "Jahrgang" having an exceptional amount of Migrationshintergrund, Turkish in particular.

Defoe (this of all names!), Young, Cole, Johnson, Huddlestone – if they were all called Muamba or Ohuruogu, perhaps, the same little joke could be had. As it is it's only EMP and the BNP who tries to claim these people are actually Jamaican.

The Anglos have the advantage of much of this immigration going back several generations in that respect – it's just been funny in recent years to see their little faces as they look at a screen and mutter "black Germans?! what the feck?".

Interesting to see the English commentator (think it was Martin Tyler) remark (mostly approvingly) on the Swiss integration/nationalization of immigrations in their U21. Haven't done any research to see what the actual position is...

Allez is right. Immigrants weren't in a major hurry to move to Germany back in the day. Give it a few generations of interbreeding and you'll have plenty of players called Heinrich and Gunter sporting lovely Mediterrenean complexions. Until then, we shall have our fun goddamit Ale

The 1994 age group is exceptional in this regard, yes, but Bernd does that 'joke' on any German NT, even the slightest hint of black curls lost somewhere in a field of blonde hair is enough for him to point this out. It's a very typically English though. They always need some excuse, especially obvious after defeats.

Blut, whilst you lot are fuelled with ammunition with repeated English goalkeeping mistakes for example, our picking are a little slim. Yes, your u21's didn't qualify but we couldn't even really milk bragging rights after some less than impressive performances from our lot.

That you've employed an open door policy on Turkish footballing talent is as juicy as it gets. After 2006 and being such lovely accomodating hosts (for a change) to all creeds and colours, we can't even mention the War anymore goddamit! So give us a break, we're doing the best we can under the circumstances. Until you get put back in your place (again) against Spain or Brazil, that's the best we got, you sour kraut Ale

Bernd, this particular issue is 'sensitive' because there is some considerable group of people in this country who would love to turn the clock backwards, we have a prominent example of that on here. You may have the BNP in England, but in Germany, considerable parts of mainstream society have still not accepted the very fact that Germany is (and has been for decades) an immigration country. Some ex Bundesbank employee writes a horrible and borderline racist book about immigrants and it becomes a bestseller. England / the UK is simply miles ahead in this regard.

So you're basically making jokes at the expense of those who'd like this country to progress. Nothing wrong with jokes for the sake of it, but it's like 'punishing' the Kraut for not being that "Blut und Boden" obsessed caricature he once was (and sometimes still is, unfortunately).

No, do whatever the hell you think is best, just wanted to add some perspective.

Besides, the best way to wind us up about this team in particular is the horrible, horribly embarassing 2-5 defeat against Holland (Holland for Christ Sakes!) in the Euro finals a few weeks ago. That's like having a field day for a lifetime, seeing the same Holland team being humiliated by Congo and North Korea now...

    Poetic justice. Laugh

Match against African champions Burkina Faso to start in an hour. It'll be interesting to see if it'll actually be a U17 and not a U21 side in reality, and how the team will cope with physical inferiority, which is rather common on this level against African sides. A good test.

A bit soft penalty for us, Yesil was supposedly fouled in the box.

Werder talent Aycicek with an absolutely ice cold finish. 2-0
