How dead is this board? Is it 'coz there's not many games today or no one can be assed anymore?

Newcastle win despite playing poorly. Im impressed: Sign of a good team that. So easy to have dropped 2 points against stubborn opposition. Serious contenders for a European spot surely and who knows maybe even 4th.

What chance has good of prevailing against the combined evil of him and Fatty Dowd

Ugh, shut the fack up.
The thing I don't understand about our run is that people keep pointing at our run of Man City(a), Man U(a), and Chelsea(h) in November, "they will drop points there", well no shit. We don't need to beat those teams, we need to continue picking up points against midtable and relegation teams.
After those 3 we have Norwich(a), Swansea(h), WBA(h), Bolton(a), and Liverpool(a), all very winnable games.

Criticise Newcastle and you want us to shut the fuck up.

Liverpool-Norwich has turned into a good game thanks to Norwich's surprise equaliser. Suarez is brilliantly unpredictable, but not very accurate with the chances that he creates.
Now Liverpool are flying forward, let's see if Norwich can display the same composure and organisation that they did for most of the 1st half.

And misses a sitter to win it in the last minute.
Then Ruddy makes superb save from Suarez in the other last minute.
I think this match has conclusively proven Holt > Suarez + Carroll

That £75m spent on Carroll, Henderson, and Downing is looking like a good investment.

Very good performance by Norwich. Got sloppy in injury time of both halves, but got a point in the end. Suarez just too wasteful with his chances.
The promoted sides have all been impressive so far this season, but I still reckon 1 or 2 of them will go down. Swansea the prime candidates.

Pfft, Paul Lambert will one day own or murder us all so I would have taken a point before the game but it really should have been all over after 20 minutes.
Downing was awful
the racist needs to get his head up
a 75% fit Gerrard booted into safe mode + Charlie 'professional footballer' Adam isn't a midfield, worst of both worlds
This game was a black mark against Dalglish, he picked the wrong team and made changes too late.

I disagree....
I thought today we were really unlucky. NOthing to do with the team selection at all.. That was more or less our best team.. (with exception of Downing's selection)..... and it showed... I thought Gerrard and Adams were excellent.. and Suarez obviously... The first 45 was a joy to watch... passing and movement... best i seen us play since towards end of last season... we could have scored 5.
Cant explain what happened after the break.. perhaps we were far too open.. and lost concentration. just one of those things..
The only 'black mark' against Dalglish was his subs.... Taking Bellamy off and putting Henderson on.. and keeping Downing on... just killed off any chance of us winning this game.. You could argue that his options were limited (like Maxi not good enough to play vs Norwich ) but again I'll say he brought this on himself by signing these expensive farts so its hard to feel any sympathy for the guy...
All in all... believe it or not there are some encouraging signs

On the lineups you would favour United. Too much shite in City's starting selection but we'll see how it pans out. Can't believe with all that money spent you can put out a centre mid with De Jong, Garry and Milner in it.

Yaya replaces the injured De Jong.
Van Persie apparently has a minor strain on his thigh, but is still fit enough to make the bench.

Just as dodgy in United's side IMO. Anderson? Hit and miss...as much as Barry certainly.
Fletcher? Seems to have been playing shit for ages.
Defence? Rio is up and down. Evans is dodgy as fuck. Evra has been dodgy for a while too. Smalling will still have dodgy moments.
Nothing to say that Silva, Milner, Balotelli and Aguero couldnt batter that.
