Yep, on this occasion. He demanded higher wages and Rodgers said see you later son. We brought in players that wanted to play for the club instead

This is understandable, but at the same time, today seems like an ideal opportunity to get some form of closure. to say: okay the truth is out in the public, the government has apologised, we can't forget what happened but we can't undo it either.
What 'justice' is going to be deemed acceptable? That everyone who did anything wrong that contributed in any way to be in jail? It's never really going to be possible to boil it down to 'this person/these people are responsible for the death of these 96 people' without being very arbitrary, because so many different things contributed to the disaster.
maybe seems a defeatist attitude, but for the families, continuing the campaign and so on is just sentencing themselves to years and years more of interminable court cases which are unlikely to tell them anything they don't already know or that is not now already public knowledge. The campaign for truth has won & campaigns need to have an endpoint.

was it the same fans? Surely they were in a Belgian prison being force fed waffles and bitter chocolate.
It was Maggie Thatcher who lobbied for English clubs to be banned from European competition.
Reading through the posts on here it would appear that the general consensus is that 96 people dying in horrific circumstances is fine if you don't like the club they support, and that the (now vindicated it would appear) campaign is nothing more than a nuisance perpetuated by a group of people who, as a result of the club they support, deserve no respect or right to justice.
I hope people are just trolling, because if this is the case it's pretty sad.
