Judging from your media I can well understand how pissed off he is. They gave him hell and now claim that this their victory. Keshi deserves the plaudits not them. There was some talk before departure about pay and bonuses that was not kept as well. He had some grievances that were not dealt with. Now they have been.

Will be interesting to see what comes of all this now. Keshi has surely opened door for others too. Just waiting for Adebayor to beg him to take over Togo again I think 110% wants assurances that Nigerian prostitutes are women of their word before booking his ticket.

He should have come to SA; they were giving away free condoms at Port Elizabeth. Not quite sure why the 3rd place match needed that more than the final, but they were.

But the idea of it being firstly offered as a motivation was interesting, and secondly once Nigerian won, whether or not the offer was honoured. It's all gone quiet on this issue, so I assume that the prostitutes backed out of it somehow, once thousands of Nigerian men started queuing up outside

Why would he care that they've won? I bet he'd be bothered if he'd, for example(unrealistic as it is) been sold in January by Newcastle and they'd gone on to win their first trophy in years. That probably would devastate him, given he's been there all his life and has a love and genuine affinity for them.

It seems that Pardew leaned on him not to go. He was born in Nigeria, so he might have some affinity with the country. If he wasn't arsed at all, why accept the call to go to the friendly in the first place? It makes no sense to go half way round the world for a meaningless friendly and turn down the major continental tournament that it was a warm up for.

I'd say because it was a last chance saloon. He knew England was a no go..Nigeria through him a bone, he chewed it for a bit then threw it away when he realised his usual bowl of pedigree chum being taken away.

That's about right, but Pardew threatened to take it away if he went to the friendly and he still went. Pretty silly all round as Nigeria have far better options than him. Word is they are more interested in his brother than him.

Sammy needs to be fed straight for about three months then locked in a gym after if he hopes to make the Nigeri NT.

This is ridiculous, Shola didn't miss out on winning the ACN. If he had played a significant part then Nigeria probably wouldn't have won, if he was a player that sat on the bench 90% of the time then so what? He will have missed out on a trophy he didn't contribute towards anyway.

He'd still have a medal. In all competitions players win medals without having played. He might not have played much or at all, but the indication is that Keshi was seriously considering him and he may well have made the squad. They would still have won it. They were the best team. I doubt that he would have started, but he might have had some playing time.
