Everton have agreed a deal with FC Twente for the transfer of Dutch international Leroy Fer.

The 23-year-old midfielder will now head to Merseyside to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.

An international team mate of Blues defender John Heitinga, he has made two full appearances for the Netherlands.

Fucking Ferrater! Couldnt wait one more year eh? No wonder he was crying yesterday with the abuse he got. He knew he played his last game in de Kuip afterall Laughing

Massive signing from Everton, Moyes for fourth.

Is he a good diver? An Everton midfielders main job is to fall over around the box to win a freekick.

Moyes usually gets these sorts of deals spot on. If Jelavic would find his scoring boots again I'd fancy them to push Spurs all the way if any one is going to.

He is a massive c**t! He started crying cause he got booed yesterday. He also recently bought a horse for his girlfriend, yet he forgot that he lived in a flat. Also when it's too cold for doing a warming-up, he wears Uggs.

Still, like I said years ago on here, he is tailormade for the EPL. Though this signing means Fellaini is a goner for sure.

Spurs and Schalke has agreed a january move for german international Lewis Holtby.
Was an incredible bosman signing, even better to get him in this early.
Needed with Sandro out for the season and Dembele struggling with his fitness.

Stupid decision by Schalke IMHO, they really need him both in the league and CL.

Moving to a new country in the middle of the season won't exactly make it easier for Lewis to settle also. So I'm not sure if it's the best solution for all parties involved, the player and Tottenham, too.

Either way, as I wrote earlier, he is a very talented player who I expect to do really well once he has gotten used to the league. Quality signing for Spurs.

Could also provide the catalyst we need to push on and secure that CL spot which we chucked away this time last season. It's a pleasing signing, however shouldn't overlook the fact we still need a striker. And badly

He is. Wonder how he will do in the EPL. He didnt really set the world to light during his 18 month spell at Twente, but after Clasie he was the best player on the pitch the other day. Still disgusted by his move last year, if he extended his contract he would have gotten that transfer as well. But money eh. Anyway we got 500k on this deal. +5.5m last year.

But something is fishy about this move, tonight on tv it was announced that Fer has to appear in court soon. It's about something he did when he was still playing for us, considering he is BLACK people think it's rape...or murder. Hence Twente are already so eager to sell him.

lol! You are such a sore loser.

Not sure about it - I would also think Fellaini is gone, but there is no actual rumours about him being sold at the moment. I think (hope?) we are gambling on Champions League and Fellaini will stay for 6 more months at least.

Not very optimistic following Fey comments, but maybe some other guys from Orange countr would give their opinion as well.
More or less, this bloke from Brugge we tried to loan in the summer looked like a better transfer to me. We'll see.

Ligue1 has gone from being a feeder league of (back then at least) guaranteed top four clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea to a feeder league of lower to bottom EPL clubs, and the transfer fees have gone south accordingly. Quite a decline, no matter how you look at it.

Either it is because the quality of the players isn't what it used to be, or the financial gap and hence pressure is increasing. Without PSG's arabs pumping silly money into the club, the transfer market would look even worse from the league's perspective. If this means that PSG will go on to dominate the league, traditional French powerhouses like Lyon or Marseille will be in trouble.
