Why is Raul playing for Madrid in a friendly in the middle east?

    Great finish though.

So the latest on Bale - 99m euro is the fee being reported. Absolutely mental. Balague claims that Madrid will announce the deal as costing 90m so as not to upset Ronaldo. Laughing

Coentrao is going to Tottenham, but it will be a separate operation from the transfer of the Welshman. Reportedly Spurs will pay 15m for the Portuguese left back.

Several sources now saying that Alberto Moreno (Sevilla, Spain U21s) will be the one to replace Coentrao. He has a buyout clause of 12m euro.

Di Maria and Benzema being linked with a move to Arsenal (80m euro for the two). Di Maria is also being linked with PSG (again) and Man Utd (again). If you believe AS (Hermel but he's french so he is always writing biased articles in favor of Benzema) then Benzema is about to extend his contract. El Confidencial is claiming that the club are done with Benzema and even Zidane is resigned to the fact that he doesn't have a strong enough character for Real Madrid.

Sounds like Álex Fernández is on his way to Espanyol Shame because I think he has the ability to play in Real Madrid but a little too much of a primadonna unlike his brother and thinks he is a little too good to continue in Castilla for the moment.

Are El confidencial any more reliable than AS?

There are reports in the Guardian u could use the Benzema money to sign Suarez, is that being reported in Spain?

Well, let's say they both have their moments. My suspicion though is that Benzema is staying. There has been no talk of Suarez for weeks.

Is Ancelotti playing with fire by keeping Casillas on the bench? The moment the bad patch comes, the Spanish brigade will turn against him... this will get interesting to watch.

Is that a reliable website for watching games? Because I always download and sometimes it can be a pain.

    Bluenine
Yeah strategically it is a bold but risky move. Mourinho always had the excuse of being in a fight with Casillas plus that he got an injury and that Diego Lopez played great in his place. But Ancelotti had a perfect chance to create peace around the club because nobody would have cared if Lopez had been benched. It was really a risk free move going with Iker. Only 2 reasons I can see why he would do this. 1) He wants to create respect and reward merit 2)He thinks Casillas has lost some of his ability
