He'd made his mind up after he failed with Suarez. Today's result will make no difference.

1 - 0 HT. Spurs obviously not gelled, and some of their new players (Capoue) look a bit at sea. We're lucky we're playing them now and not in December. Ramsey playing deep today but Rosicky has been marauding forward to good effect and his unpredictability (opposition players don't seem to know what he'll do or where he will be next) makes him invaluable. Our weak link is Jenkinson who's been skinned a few times and we may have to get Bac on, sick or not. Wilshere limped off a few minute before the 1H whistle and Flamini is on.

Your weak link was, is, and will always be Wilshere. He doesn't know how to 'play' the game. TFS!<Ale> <Ale> <Ale>

I like the English medics who attended Dembelé who was crying like a bitch on the pitch. They inserted a dildo or something in his mouth to shut the fuck up while they treated him on the pitch.

If you're severely injured, you're injured. We know! You don't have to be crying like a pussy. Man up! Dembelé, FFS!

Do we all love Giroud now? What a match from him.

Santi is a special special player.

Erm we have the same points from 3 games. One team has a ton of new players, the other team has a becnh full of 16 yr olds.

Is Wenger really gonna play the same team 50-60 times this season? I hope no of them want to play at the WC ok

I know who my money is on for 4th Ale

Right now Spurs have replaced their only goal threat with Soldado (who isn't going to get involved too much, more of a poacher), Lamela who may or may not be any good in this league, Eriksen who isn't that great, and the rest are much of a muchness. Too many new players, the loss of Bale is too great and the pressure to finish above Arsenal will take its toll.

Arsenal in pole position for 4th right now.

Arsenal get the win Spurs were not that bad I see them improving more with a few more games together. Arsenal certainly showed a lot of respect getting all their players behind the ball for the last 8 minutes or so. Lamela did okay like to see him play more, Townsend did well on the right AVB has many option to graft a good attacking line if he wants. Capoue from the first off looked wasted and lost in his position need to sort this waste of game space energy so the middle can become more effective.

    Hugo Boss Ale Ale Ale

Expecting a massive offer from Barca for him next summer Sad

We can't play this midfield with Soldado - really worried that we are not creative enough to give him the service that he needs and a striker with superior physical qualites (PEA/Benteke) would have been better for us.

Need Holtby, Eriksen, Townsend & Lamela - the players who attack space and move it quickly to be be in the team to make it work for him.

Tremendous heart & defensive effort showed by Arsenal in that 2nd half - I will never, ever write you guys off ok

Souness is gash. Aaron Ramsey today 'He was as committed as all other players...but 1 goal in 36 games last season, that's not good enough.' Embarassing. He'd bigged up Spurs and predicted Arsenal to lose before the match, but the cardinal law of punditry is; when in a hole, stop digging.
