Can't see Townsend playing 3 games in one week. Although maybe AVB is willing to use him intensely at this point as he's building momentum.

Lennon will probably be missing through injury.

Toure scores for City. Still gelling. They'll be fine sadly

Man Fulham are so negative away from home, i'd be surprised if there's more than 1 goal in this game. I swear Jol used to be known for exciting football.

On the bright side, Newcastle have doubled their season's shots on target tally.

NBC a bit concerned at the lack of action in the EPL - SIX HOURS of combined time and ZERO goals. Shocked

Not good after the good ol' USA had to watch the dross served last Monday by supposedly the best teams in the league.

Hang on NBC! you ain't seeing nothing yet.

Oddly, if we got a couple of goals, miracles do happen sometimes, we'd end the day on top of the table, haha.

It will turn off a lot of the casual fans, especially the games that are shown on NBC proper.

Some English guy on NBC telling America that this is just an "anomaly" in the league and that the goals will start to flow and that "normal service will return". lol!

    THIS IS the EPL!

Funny how they don't shout "This is the Premiership..." when the British managers are on.lol! <Ale> <Ale> <Ale>

That Monday game was a total fiasco. All the hype and they served that dross. All the new American fans who were ready to embrace the EPL were not impressed at all.

    And, now more dross.

Excuse me while I don't give a shit what Americans think.

Anita could really be a quality player under the right coaches, in general play he is better than Cabaye.

Why - because the referee awarded a dodgy penalty?

Barcelona had 1 shot on target all match and Atletico made about 47 fouls. I wouldn't call it anything other than dire.

Yaya, Pennant, Redmond, Ben Arfa - not many goals but the ones that were scored were blinders. The majority of Americans will never like football as long as the scores aren't in double figures, peppered with ad breaks, semi naked girls with pom poms and cannons that fire free t shirts into the crowd at full time.

The ones who do like football appreciate the contested endeavour and solitary moments of joy that come with it. Nobody wants to watch a team be 5-0 up by half time Ale
