Also it is absoultley fantastic for cules like me that Perez decided to sell their joint best player (with Modric) in Di Maria and replace him with a luxury player like James Rodriquez. Madrid where much more balanced with Di Maria in midfield. He's so fucking good Di Maria.

Di Maria was class. Real Madrid got lucky that PSG didn't finish their chances and their GK fucked up.

Olympiakos scored the 2-1, Arsenal are not making it to the next round it seems, despite the great passes of world class players like Ozil!

Arsenal not completely out. the most likely results of the next set of fixtures are Arsenal home win over Dynamo and Bayern beat Olympiakos. Then Arsenal would be going to Olympiakos knowing a win by 2 would put them through. Zero margin for error but a fairly plausible scenario.

Just watched the 1st half, Thiago was surprisingly good. Coman looks a great prospect at 19 as well. The top English sides just can't compete with the best European teams, the only way they have a chance is to play pussy football. Arsenal are lauded in England for being a great footballing team but they can't get a kick against the European powerhouses. Pinned in on the edge of their own box like a bunch of pussys.

We, Man Utd are so, so bad. Especially tactically. Now in the Epl when you play the likes of Sunderland, Palace, Spurs etc you get away with it...but in the CL..not so much.

Come on, Tina Fey. Don't tell me you didn't know that already!

Talksport is gonna be epic tonight. lol! lol! lol! lol! The funniest thing, and the most damning proof of how SHIITTE the club of the devil is is that it wasn't Bayern who KO them. It wasn't Dortmund, Schalke or even Leverkusen. It wasn't even historic M'gladbach!

Oh no, no, no...IT WAS WOLFSBURG!!! Laugh Laugh Laugh Ale Ale

Look at the players though, if you invest 300 milion or whatever, and you play with Blind, Smalling, Fellaini, Depay etc...you did something wrong.

    Chins cheers

If you can't get through that group it's shameful. United are in a decline reminiscent of our decline post Rafa - awful football, very little goal threat and piss poor defending. Mentality has been destroyed from the Fergie era.

Arsenal to join us in the Europa tomorrow.

The group was one of the easiest groups given to the club of the devil in the history of the CL. Two teams with no CL pedigree whatsoever, and PSV from the EREDIVISIE. lol!

Moreover, both Wolfsburg and PSV had lost their best players this season.

Most fans of the club of the devil will be furious for being KO. What they really don't know is that the manner in which how they were KO was utterly ridiculous - from not only playing against such teams, but such teams losing their very best players. lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol!

I HAVE GOT TO LISTEN TO TALKSPORT NOW. Biggrin <Ale>

What a disaster for Man Utd. Will be hard to recover from this and they won't even get the benefit of midweek breaks. I suppose they won't prioritise Europa League but it will surely be a drag on their season unless the go on to win it and most of the time high profile teams tend not to.
Only saw PSV in their two games against Man Utd but they looked really impressive in most facets of the game. Still, it is a shame Man Utd couldn't proceed because there is always a chance they would recover by the times of the last 16 and it is always more interesting with big teams involved.

Props to Joel Campbell too. Never rated him but been playing well recently and has now moved above Ox in the pecking order.

Ozil is great, but he's rather wasted on Arsenal.

If you failed to get through last night then there'd have been genuine pressure on Wenger to change tack, now he's feeling secure in his methods.

Ozil is wasted at Arsenal, true. He can play with Giroud but looks more devastating with Theo, and even Theo is a pretty limited striker himself.

Fortunately/Unfortunately, depending on what way you look at it, Wenger will always be secure in his methods as he has no pressure from up above. That's the biggest problem and why he has the most comfortable job in world football. Despite his flaws, the annoying thing is that players like Ozil and Alexis end up at the club because of him. He's a weird one. He's obviously well respected by players but his slow approach to squad building pisses everyone off to no-end. We'll probably meet Barca and get knocked out anyway so last night is meaningless. What can we do though, take the rough with smooth.
