2015/16 UEFA Champions League - Group Stages

Group A - Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Malmö
Group B - PSV, Manchester United, CSKA, Wolfsburg
Group C - Benfica, Atlético, Galatasaray, Astana
Group D - Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla, Mönchengladbach
Group E - Barcelona, Leverkusen, Roma, BATE
Group F - Bayern, Arsenal, Olympiacos, Dinamo Zagreb
Group G - Chelsea, Porto, Dynamo Kyiv, Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Group H - Zenit, Valencia, Lyon, Gent

Pretty uninteresting groups tbh. Apart from Group D and H where maybe it's not obvious who will qualify from Zenit, Valencia, and Lyon there doesn't look like a lot of drama.

Pretty good groups actually, especially group D, that is gonna be tight. Memphis back to PSV

Group D is quite interesting, one team from each of the top 4 leagues... Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla, Mönchengladbach.

City always get a tough draw, though this time they should easily pass through this one.

On Sky Sports it said Wolfsburg instead of Monchengladbach. Group D is the most interesting, hopefully that shit oil club with no history gets knocked out by Sevilla.

I am happy with our (Barcelona, Atletico, Valencia's) groups.

And lol at their only being 2 Italian teams in the CL, shit league nowadays. Lazio got spanked by Neverkusen.

Easily the worst groups I can remember. United and Chelea with groups that look like Europa League groups. Even City shouldn't f**k it up this time.

2 Italian teams compared to 5 La Liga teams.      Serie Gay is a shit league with shit players and teams (apart from Juve), it's a 1 teams league basically and I say that as a Lazio supporter.

And lol at City easily passing through against Sevilla. Shitty couldn't win the Europa League if their life depended on it.

Well I think this year Serie A might be rather interesting with Juve losing many players. And people are underestemating Wolfsburg, sure they lost de Bruyne but still a good team. Also watch City getting dicked by Sevilla.

But Juve have bought well though. They will finish at least 10 points ahead of the 2nd placed team.

Who is going to challenge them realistically? Roma? I doubt it.

Group predictions
   A: Real Madrid, PSG, Shakhtar, Malmo
   Pretty straight forward group.
   B: Man United, CSKA, Wolfsburg, PSV
   The last time Wolfsburg were in the CL, they crashed out at this stage after the fanfare of the year before. German teams not named Bayern, Bayer, Dortmund, or Schalke generally do not do well in the group stage.
   C: Atletico, Galatasaray, Benfica, Astana
   Benfica struggles mightily in the group stage and Galatasaray is a brutal environment for Benfica to play in.
   D: Juventus, City, Sevilla, Monchengladbach
   Monchengladbach: by far the worst team in the group and see Wolfsburg. Sevilla are overrated: winning the EL means nothing for CL success (just ask Zenit and Shakhtar).
   E: Barcelona, Leverkusen, Roma, BATE
   Leverkusen take care of business in the group stages.
   F: Bayern, Arsenal, Olympiacos, Zagreb
   Pretty straight forward, except for the fact Olympiacos might be a problem for Arsenal.
   G: Chelsea, Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Maccabi
   Kiev will challenge Porto, but probably fall short.
   H: Zenit, Lyon, Valencia, Gent
   Group of life: Zenit are due advancing after being in similar difficulty group. Lyon have arguably two best players in group: Lacazette and Fekir. Like in Germany, outside of Spain's big three, the rest of the teams tend to struggle in the group stage.

Winning the EL twice in a row is an impressive feat, even apart from that it's obvious they are a very good team.

Llorente will start ahead of Gameiro always. And Denis Suarez has gone to Villarreal now but still a very strong squad.

The CL is back.
