Real Madrid's first penalty was a joke. Ronaldo kicks it at Srna's back then asks for a penalty.

So Juve, who are in turmoil domestically, beat a City team bossing the EPL. And in Manchester...

Don't worry though...Yaya Toure assures us it was luck.

I thought he had a decent game, though not his best, but he was easily the best of the City players yesterday.

That was a masterclass by Juventus. Great defensive organisation and two awesome goals - that can give any team problems.

Linaker - "What do Arsenal need to do to get further in the CL this year".

Gerrard - "Well, I think they need to perform a bit better"

    Laughing

I like Linaker, but Ferdinand is a boring idiot and Gerrard is just boring. I much preferred Souness, Carragher and even Redknapp (not the most knowledgeable but he has a personality.) Ferdinand and Gerrard are just unwatchable.

Pity Pjanic is missing for Roma tonight, I like watching him play. I think we will win comfortably to be honest. Roma doesn't face anyone on Barcelonas level in Serie A.

Everyone slags off Toure after these games but City played 2 in midfield, which was suicide, until now when they tie him down to a midfield role.

    Play him in between 2 CM's and a CF - he is a 10.

Time to accept that whilst they are inventive and great to watch both Mata and Silva lack that explosiveness required to be a top final 3rd player these days.

Mata and Silva lack explosiveness for sure, but its Yaya Toure who lacks a lot more. A firm first touch to start with.

Imagine being Toure, you dwarf everyone on saturday or sunday get called sheer class by a random 80's Brit the next day in any given tabloid only to be found a fraud on tuesday or wedsnesday.

And to top it all, your club forget your birthday as well!!

    Being Yaya Toure aint easy.

Silva is outstanding. If he moved now to Madrid or Barca he'd probably get 20 league goals a season. Spain has far more quality it's true but Madrid and Barca win with such ease sometimes it's comical.

So what? He would do that in the DPL if Real Madrid moved to the DPL.

    4 DPL teams - 3 losses and 1 win.

La Liga - 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 win.

La Liga miles ahead on the coefficient tables with both CL and Europa League Champions.

Conclusion - DPL is the best league in the world and David Silva would score 20 goals in La Liga.  <Ale>

And let us not forget ( I am not letting anyone forget) we should have had another penalty tonight. That's like 6 clear penalties we haven't been awarded this season. FFS. And to top it off a Roma RB decided to score one of the best ever CL goals.

Barca were too sloppy. But a draw away is always nice. They might win it b2b for the first time in CL history.
