Germany were excellent. 2-0 is a very harsh scoreline - Walcott apart, England were average. But then they were as excellent on friday as Germany were tonight, so probably deserved.

I just wish England were capable at this level of playing less conservatively away from home.

It doesnt serve well for the future senior England team if the yopungsters are being groomed to sit back on a lead, especially when the opposition is reduced to 10 men. Credit to Germany. Was v impressed with Hilbert.

Plus side- Theo is clearly got "it". Why Routledge and Walcott werent playing from the start is a little strange (Taylor cited "resting them", yet neither have played regularly for their clubs this season)

Rensing, Ochs, Brzenska, Reinhardt, Hunt, Kiessling, Castro, Gomez, Boateng, Dum, Freis and Hilbert they ALL WERE BORN in GERMANY, they ARE GERMAN and they have the RIGHT to play for the GERMAN-NT.

Great stuff by Theo - That's what the hype ids about - he's a special prospect, no doubt.

The UNIT wasn't at his best, but he was better than Reo-Coker.

Like 1trick said, Routledge should have been on from the start The left -back must have been relieved when he saw the "English Odonkor" Agbonlahor starting instead of an infinetly more talented player. ok

I said "Fake" because some of them COULD play for another country, and with this result maybe they should. German football is in decline, yes you reached the semis. But tell me who is actually good enough for the top? Or which young player could make it?

Anyway, im sorry for your lost....but still Schade "Deutschland alles ist vorbei" <Ale>

Don't take him seriously, Ballmädchen. Unfortunately, some posters here can't go without wind-ups for more than a few posts...

Saying we're in decline doesn't make it so, Fey. Quite the opposite. We played well with 10 men and we were missing our top three players.

I dont disagree with that, I really like him. He was great last friday, tortured that left back.

Just saying, Agbonlahor was good and deserved a chance aswell and he did a good job. Young was rubbish though.

Shame for Young, but I believe he'll be better for it. I do think he'll be better than Gabby though.

Gabby reminds me of SWP when he was 1st coming up with Man City... both of their ability is exaggerated because of the grafters that surrounded them at their clubs.

He's very confident though (Agbonlahor) ok

People are a bit harsh on aglabonhor. He is 17-18 doing very well, using what he has well. Because he doesnt fit how some people want footballers to be he is just a speed merchant. I dont think he has limited potential like some players, He is doing very well, and can become a lot better.
