Unless you say Henry is the best striker in the world and one of the top 3 players in the world, your a hater.
What does Hater-ade taste like.
Dunno, but I'm guessing it's very different from Henry & Gerrard's Willy

This is when you know this forum is fucked up, Gerrard and Henry in an under rated list.
I mean Scholes nominated for most over rated as well, where as outside of this forum he's almost like the forgotten man.
spanky's Manu Spectacles prevent him reading properly, and they have rose-tinted lenses

Simao is ususally a big game chocker.
Ricardo I'm still not sure whether people would rather have him or Pepe Reina...
What about Liedson? I've spoken to Brazilians that don't quite grasp how great this little man really is...and I'm guessing most people on here don't even know who he is.
Viva o Levezinho!

Anybody rate Rafinha? I was really impressed by him in the last CL.. quality player.
Same goes for Nelson. But why isn't he playing for Benfica in CL this year?

Any reasons for this Sporting? Off form? Whos keeping him out of the team?

Is Fernando Meira underrated? Of the little I’ve seen of him, he looks elegant, composed, a good distributor and a decent defender.
I, too, think Ricardo is excellent.

Injury I believe. Still I'm not sure he'd be in the team even if he was fit. They seem to like playing Alcides I believe instead of him.
They've shifted Neslon around the pitch on several occasions, I think this kinda got the kid off track. Looks a quality player thought.
Funny how they were claiming he's better than Miguel, and yet he isn't even a sure bet to be int the 11 anymore even when he is fit.

Personally, I think Fernando Meira is underrated. I'm quite alright with him playing centre back when Jorge Andrade is not fit...or Carvalho if that's the case.
I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up by a richer club than Stuttgart. I discuessed this with the Germans on here, they said he's a respected player within Germany, but Stuttgart have him under wraps.
Don't quite think he gets the praise he should from Portuguese media. He's a solid defender in my view. Not as great as RC or JA but a solid defender nonetheless.

Benfquistas in general were over the moon with the kid.
I'm surprised you're not very impressed with Miguel. I think he was among our very best in both the Euro and World Cup.

I suppose he is pretty consistent but I'm afraid his defensive frailties will be exposed when he comes up against class oppositon.

Very good player, was impressed with him the first time i saw him. Very dangerous striker and hardworking too. I heard he started his pro carreer late, is that true?

Miguel has played on the highest stages, not sure what elese he has to prove. Granted he is better going forward than defending, but he is no slouch at doing the dirtier part of his job.
His crossing could still use some work however.

Class act isn't he? Hard working beyond beliefe; he's often referred to as our first defender.
He did start his career late. He was still stocking shelves past his 20th birthday. Played in Brazil for a short time before making the jump over to Europe.

He hasn't performed when it matters though. He is a good defender though just doesn't tickle my fancy.
How have his performances been this season?

I can't agree.
I thought he was very good against Holland for example in Germany.
He's had bad luck though with injuries as he was forced to pull out of both the Euro and the World Cup.
Haven't actually seen him play this year within Spain, but I've hear only good things.
Played for Portugal on Saturday and provided a vital assist. I'll see him agianst Poland next match.

u must be joking mate.
I personally feel he is the best right back in the world currently.
"He hasn't performed when it matters though"
did u see him against robben in germany? and in portugal? did u watch the recent barca- valencia match? and countless others for valencia?
All at the highest level mate, against top class opposition. His problem defensively is he can be too attacking sometimes thus making it easier for teams to counter attack

Just checked his career total; 85 goals in 148 matches. That's pretty good! i wonder why clubs aren't putting in bids for him.

I didn't say I didn't rate him he just doesn't tickle my fancy.personal opinion really. So where was he when he came up against Florent Malouda? I think he is a good player granted but best right back in the world is a no go.

What did malouda really do in the semis?
Tell me, which aspect of his game do u think is weak?
He passes, crosses, beats people, defends one vs one just as good anyone out there.

There was interest for sure. Sporting wasn't willing to sell, at least not for the price montioned...Corinthians wanted him back. Betis has been said to be interested as well.
Thing is, I believe his lack of size is a problem for clubs from more competitive leagues. Playing in Portugal I believe he can handle the more demanding CL as he isn't pushed as much within our league. He can a bit of a break after the mid-week Euro matches.
He's also going through a dry patch by his standards. Last season only hit 15, and has only 1 this season off a pk. Still his contribution has been unquestionable as he's been part of about 75% of our goals.
Once he starts scoring regularly again, and hopefully in the CL, they'll be talk again. I don't think he'll leave though, not for cheap at least.

Quick feet on him from what I've seen. Not sure about much else.
Sorry boro, I've been slacking on my Riverside watching.

He created more chances than any other player on the pitch.
